We are not an expert in political science/sociology and could not understand Isaac fully but it is always great to learn new things when we visit new places. You will at least find out the root cause of weak Greek economy is not lazy people by the end of the tour. Actually I found many people are hard working during our 12-day stay in Greece this time. I will definitely book his another tour when I visit Athens next time!
Isaac opened our minds to the Greece beyond the “tourism Disneyland”. His walking tour was informative and well planned. I have such a better insight into the past and current issues and it helped me make sense of what I was observing. Highly recommend

Isaac was a wonderful guide - his depth and breadth of knowledge was incredible and he was able to make comparisons to our own country's politics make some of the concepts easier to understand. I would say this is a niche tour, but if you are interested in history and politics it is a great tour
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Isaac was a brilliant guide, engaging and insightful, and the tour that he crafted really is like no other. I had no idea how complicated Greek politics and society are. If you'd like to go beyond the standard tours and sightseeing activities, this is a must do activity.
Isaac is a passionate and knowledgeable guide. I really enjoyed the route he took us along and his story spanning from the Greek independence war to the modern era. I appreciated that he had a lot of interesting anecdotes based on the recent news stories: they added flavor to his overarching narrative.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to understand what is the current political situation in Greece and what are the historical reasons for the way it is.

Isaac knows his subject matter and has a perspective as a person living in Greece who is not Greek. I appreciated his description of early modern Greece tying it through the Junta and move toward democratic reform. He gave a perspective on the polarization in Greek society that I appreciated.
The guide has a story to tell on political development in Greece, with vivid anecdotes and examples. You don't have to agree with everything (or have much prior knowledge) to gain a insight into the politics of Greece, particularly leading to the recent crisis. For someone like myself, who has read histories of the country and has background knowledge, the guide's synthesis is very useful in setting context.
