- Dress Code: Wear whatever makes you comfortable for an evening stroll, but keep in mind that we’ll be walking on stone-paved roads—sensible footwear is recommended.

Such an entertaining way to learn about popular sites in the city. Michael was an awesome guide who had engaging stories for every stop. If you’re looking for a tour that goes beyond just the same historical factoids, this is a solid choice

Lovely night Tim walk around the Acropolis. Michael, our storyteller for the evening, was great. He new the myths inside out and chose appropriately horrible ones to share!

Michael was wonderful! He is patient and accommodating. It me and my 14 years old son. The tour takes about 2 hours walking around the footsteps of the Acropolis at night. Michael took us on a magical trip with Greek mythology with all its good, bad, and tragic with a bit of history infused here and there. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic tour. I like how personable the experience was. All of the stories were really interesting and Michael really knows his stuff! He was absolutely lovely and respectful while dealing with intense subject matter. This tour was also great because it required walking between story locations but we were able to sit while the stories were being told. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Athens to get a fun and dramatic lesson on Ancient Greece and its mythology.

The best thing about this tour was the route we took. We were able to see how the Athenians enjoyed their Saturday night on the walking plaza around the acropolis. The guide was nice and friendly and told us different “adult” versions of various myths that we were unfamiliar , but it wasn’t particularly engaging.

Michael was a terrific story teller. We enjoyed his humor and answering our questions. While everything was interesting, we were expecting more "horror" type stories, but nonetheless, he was very good.

I had an absolutely fantastic time on the Athens Horror Mythology Tour, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our guide, Michael, was a true gem—his deep knowledge of Greek mythology and local history brought every story to life in the most chilling and captivating way. He was incredibly friendly, making everyone feel welcome and engaged from start to finish. Michael’s storytelling was a highlight, weaving spooky tales with fascinating historical tidbits that kept us on the edge of our seats. I loved this experience. I felt how passionate and knowledgeable our tour guide (Michalis) was from the get-go. There were plenty of stops for photo opportunities, and our views of Athens at night were absolutely unbeatable. As someone who spent a great deal of time with D’Aulaires’ Book of Greek Myths as a kid, I was absolutely able to nerd out on this tour. The pace was reasonable and I felt the length for the full tour was just right.
