What are people saying about Tuscany

Best time, best group, best chef
This is a fabulous experience. Our chef, Lucela was amazing, funny, engaging and knew what the heck she was doing. She guided us through making pasta and ravioli and tiramisu. The whole group was lively, engaging, back slapping funny and we made some new friends.

Cathedral museum tour and Doumo climb
This was a wonderful tour and the guide did an excellent job leading our small group through the cathedral and museum and sending us off to climb the 360+ stairs to a spectular view of Florence on a spectular sunny day. An awesome tour. It is worth mentioning that when you book this (or many ) tour through Viator, Viator sends you links to tickets (sometimes many times) but these tickets are useless because the tour is really being handled by a subcontractor that will send you the official access tickets by some other electronic method. If you are not paying attention for emails from the subcontractor you may miss the link to your official tickets. Several people in our small group were scrambiling to find their real tickets at the last minute. Also, a heads up that you will need to have your ticket scanned 4 times during the tour as an individual so everyone in your group should have their own copy ( electronic or printed) in order to get through the single person turnstile. I am particularly disappointed with the communications from Viator about subcontractors because 2 out of 5 tours we scheduled for our recent trip to Italy were cancelled by the subcontractor within a few days of the tours indicating not enough people had signed up, leaving you hanging with no tour unless you jump through their hoops. So imagine counting on a ticket to see the statue of David and museum during your limited time in Florence only to have the subcontractor cancel with no hand off to another company. Let the buyer beware.

This was absolutely fun...
This was absolutely fun and delicious! Never have made pasta from scratch until now, and the 3 sauces were fabulous! Great atmosphere, excellent and fun instruction by our chef, Lorenzo, and we enjoyed wine while we cooked and ate! A definite must do while in Florence!

Great tour!
The tour was really good. Our guide, Annette, was excellent! I would highly recommend it if you don’t have a lot of time in Florence. It was a great way to see the highlights of Florence. My only complaint is the confusion of going through Viator. The email said we had to download a pdf and take it to an office to get our official ticket. We spent awhile looking for the office. We never found it and went on to the meeting spot which is what we should have done in the first place. It was confusing and a bit stressful.

All stone villages, olive groves, and cypress trees dotted around rolling green hills: Tuscany is where all your Italian countryside dreams come true. And when it comes to its cities, Florence, Siena, and Pisa have enough Renaissance architecture to make your Italian urban dreams come true, too. The best way to discover the region’s history, countryside, and cuisine is with a guide—and there’s no shortage of Tuscany tours to help. Go wine tasting in Chianti, get the lowdown on the art in Florence’s Uffizi Gallery, visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, see the best of Siena on foot, and more.
