Well organised trip, and stunning scenery

Well organised trip. Multiple buses - but each driver had a list of names for his bus, so it wasn't hard to find our bus. There were 50 or so on our bus though - not the maximum 18 or so that the booking confirmation mentioned! Amazing scenery though, and very well organised. The meal stops were good, and very slick ordering ahead online for the dinner stop in the evening. There's a supermarket just round the corner behind the restaurant, so we got snacks there too - lot cheaper. 3 monateries were great

Aristotle was EXCELLENT!!! He was a reliable, welcoming, well-informed, and competent guide for our Athen's full day tour. His past experiences from his educational background, his being part the royal guard, and his love of Greece and Athens made us feel that our experience in Athens was authentic and gave us a true understanding of this vibrant city. We were blessed to be part of his tour. This comment is no reflection on the tour itself. We would that Viator clarify the part that discusses lunch in the tour. We misunderstood and thought lunch was included. Maybe revise to say time will be allocated during time for participants to buy a lunch at a recommended restaurant. Highly recommended tour, top notch guide

We had a fantastic tour with Nick, filled with so much information about all the spots we visited. It was well paced and with regular informative stops on the climb up the Acropolis so didn't feel out of breath or achy legs! The tour of the museum is also recommended to see much of the original ornamental details.

Don’t miss this tour, filled with great food and culture!

Anastasia was a wonderful tour leader. She made each and everyone on the tour feel like family. We enjoyed her love of the food and the traditions in Greece in every bite. The tour took place where the locals go…and her stories of the Greek culture and her own family made the tour that much more enjoyable. We laughed a lot and there were a few little tears when we said our goodbyes.

We really lucked out, because I think we got Viator’s best Athens tour guide! Terry is friendly, professional, flexible, and he speaks perfect English. His knowledge of Greek, European, and even American history is nothing short of amazing, and he knows the streets of Athens like the back of his hand! I generally don’t care for tours, but Terry treated us to the perfect day. When you make your reservation, I’d strongly recommend that you ask for Terry to be your driver! Tip: Go to the Acropolis as early as possible, like 9am. The crowds are crazy by late morning! If you have mobility issues, bring a doctor’s note so you can use the elevator.

Fun 1 day tour

Great one day tour for a quick getaway. The boat was clean and spacious. The crew was friendly and helpful. Food in the buffet was delicious. Swimming was refreshing and fun. Aegina had many things to do — Apollo temple, shopping, pistachios, gelato, etc. The first island didn’t have very much to do but we made the most of it.

Our tour guide, Frosso, was incredibly helpful and exceptionally knowledgeable about the rich history of the Acropolis and Parthenon. Her deep understanding of the ancient ruins brought the site to life and made the experience both educational and engaging. Well organised, beautifully paced and informative.

We had a great tour with a terrific guide. We thought we knew a lot about the Acropolis before, but our guide was so entertaining and informative that we learned a lot more! Very organised meet up at the office, so no standing around lost on corners. We were really pleased that we decided to take this tour rather than doing it alone, and would highly recommend it for others.

Lots of stairs and steps. Worth it!

Wear supportive shoes with good tread! Our guide was fantastic and walking up the steps and trails and rocks was no joke! Very proud once we made it to the top. If it is going to be hot, bring a hat and water as there is not any sol once on property. DO NOT MISS THE MUSEUM! SO much more you see an learn!
