Best way to see highlights of Athens.

Best way to see the highlights of Athens. There was a lot of walking uphill and steps to get to all the attractions. And the you have to walk down. Good shoes are a must. But the experience is so very worth it. Even though we went I. The “off” season it was crowded esp with bus tours. Buy your Acropolis tickets in advance and if you are a senior and from the US you do NOT qualify for the senior discount. Our guide Nico, was amazing, a fountain of knowledge and was able to switch up the itinerary as we booked a private tour. The best way to go. He was courteous, polite and very professional. Love this tour company and highly recommend it.

Stunning views and interesting history

It’s a very long day with an 8 hour bus ride - 4 hours each way but the bus makes a stop at the two hour mark. You should be prepared for that as well as many steps to climb to get to each monastery - hundreds of steps. However - we loved it. The monasteries are beautiful, the history is interesting and the views are out of this world! We are so glad we did the trip.

Nice extensive tour

This was a long in-depth tour of the Acropolis and Agora, including the Agora museum. Be prepared to walk with some uneven areas on the hills. The sites are beautiful and full of history and culture. The tour guide was knowledgeable, warm and gave us enough time to wander. Thank you!

Ancient Athens on modern transportation!

Everything about the experience was great! Easy check in. Prompt Segway training. And we were off to enjoy some of the most amazing sights of Ancient Athens with Vanna, the best tour guide! She gave us great info, took pics for us, made sure we were hydrated (and gelato-died) and even helped us work out dinner reservations. We will be taking the Modern Athens Segway tour with her also because we enjoyed it so much!

Good tour and organized. Just know its HOT during summer here!

Good trip relaxing. It was very hot but the guide made sure we took some shade while we walk around. The trip was well guided and strict on timeline to align with the schedule. Bus has good AC and wifi. Tour guide microphone sometimes cannot be understand but still manageable. Overall good experience. Pro tip: do not go on summer as it is very hot!!

A perfect day at Delphi and Arahova

Our day trip to Delphi and Arahova could not have been better — we highly recommend it to anyone interested in an excursion outside of Athens that blends history with culture. * GUIDE. Our tour guide Aggelos was simply perfect. He shared history knowledgeably, welcomed questions, and connected personally with guests. * TRANSPORT. Travel for the 9 guests was with a comfortable, spacious new van equipped with shades, air conditioning, and tinted windows (all helpful with the blazing sun). Our driver was careful and smooth, and very customer service-oriented. * DELPHI. Aggelos suggested we tour the site first (smart because of the heat) and then visit the museum second. Fantastic idea. Both are exceptional. Audio guide was useful in adding an extra layer of meaning to what we were seeing and was easy to access / navigate with my iPhone. Wear good shoes and bring water (clear liquids allowed only at the site). * ARAHOVA. One of my favorite towns in Greece. Picturesque. Great restaurants. Lovely shops. History was again presented by Aggelos — loved it.

Walk n talk a lot on this Athens tour! We learned so much from our very knowledgeable guide on this tour. Better be in fairly good shape to walk, stand and navigate many flights of stairs. All the historical sights, archeological sites, and museum gave a whole day of memorable experiences.

The Best of Athens done right

Alex our driver and guide was fantastic, super helpful and very attentive. He met us at the cruise port right on time, answered all questions, even the silly ones and was so eager to share his knowledge of Athens, the sights and history. We saw so many sights, beat the bulk of the lines at the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum and then had a lovely and super tasty lunch at a little coastal restaurant near Poseidon's Temple. If you want to make the most of a day in Athens, this tour will make that happen.
