Sunset Tour - Temple of Poseidon

I booked a sunset tour of Cape Sounion and Temple of Poseidon - I just loved it, particularly the Temple of Poseidon at twilight (I also loved swimming at the beach - the only who did - very brisk!). But what made the trip especially wonderful was the tour guide (Sevi) and the driver (Alexander). They were both so accommodating and patient (I made a mistake with the the pickup location) and Alexander even dropped me off at my hotel (not the original pickup point). Sevi was extremely knowledgable (trained as an archaeologist) and a good storyteller. Entirely worth it.

An incredible day in Athens with Stathis!

We had such a wonderful day exploring Athens with Stathis! He was incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely fun to spend time with, and put so much care into making our tour a great experience. We saw so much, learned so much, enjoyed a fantastic lunch, and came away very grateful that we had him as our guide. What stood out most was the time he took to explain everything in detail. He did much more than simply point out the sights. He helped us understand what we were seeing and why it mattered, making each stop more interesting and meaningful. His knowledge added so much to the experience, and we really appreciated the effort he put into sharing it with us. Having someone who can go into that level of detail while still keeping the day enjoyable makes such a difference. Stathis also brought such a fun energy to the tour. There was a wonderful balance between learning about Athens and simply enjoying our time together. We visited many different stops, and it was great to experience so much of the city with someone who made the day feel engaging rather than just a checklist of places to see. The lunch was another highlight! We had a great meal, and it was such a nice part of an already memorable day. Between the sightseeing, the detailed explanations, the laughter, and the food, we could not have asked for a better experience. Stathis, thank you so much for your time, your enthusiasm, and all the thought you put into our tour. We truly appreciated how much you shared with us and how enjoyable you made our visit to Athens. You helped us leave with wonderful memories and a much greater appreciation for the city. We would absolutely recommend you to anyone visiting Athens. Thank you again for an amazing day!

Loved this tour!

The tour was well organized, fun and so entertaining and when they tell you it’s a lot of food- believe them! Our guide, Anna, was fantastic and just fun to be with. She has such great information and a joyful way about her- she did a great job teaching us, showing us sights as well as great foods and she seemed to know everyone. She was great and all of the food perfect!

Acropolis and Parthenon Guided Walking Tour

My wife and I had a wonderful tour of the Acropolis in Athens on Sun Sept 6th under the leadership of our tour guide Sofia Kontiza. Sofia was excellent, providing historical information about the history of the site and structures (West gate, temple of Athena, the Parthenon etc.), was well organized and managed the tour group effectively in a timely manner, this was critical as the crowds on Sun morning (830 AM) were large. Additionally Sofia has a degree in archaeology and really invested in the history of Greece. I would recommend good hiking shoes as the marble is slippery and 1-2 bottles of cold water for hot weather since you cannot purchase anything on the Acropolis. Tim

Excellent guide with great historical insights

Our guide was fantastic! She shared great insights about the Acropolis and Greek history. The cost of a guided tour was definitely worth it. I recommend you wear sturdy sneakers because the stone paths near the site are slippery. I saw 4 people slip on the stones. The museum visit was a great addition because we got to see the actual ancient artifacts.

Hermes was incredible....

Hermes was incredible. Very knowledgeable and shared many stories and also added some humor to keep things going. Great tour of acropolis area and then museum. It was nice we ended at museum so you could stay and see things not highlighted on the tour. Also, unlike other tours I’ve done you get you’re physical ticket so you are able to access sites like the excavation museum as well

Our tour was absolutely amazing and so informative!! Poly taught us so much and made sure to ask if we had any questions before moving on to the next area. Traveling with my mom scared me since walking up to the acropolis seemed intimidating but Poly made sure to go at a good pace! I think the tour was 10x better because of Poly, she’s truly amazing and you’d be lucky to get her as your guide!

Aristotle Was our guide, you could not ask for better. He is not only fully trained as a guide and driver but has a history degree. Who better to spend a day in Athens with? He is passionate, personable and truly cares that you have a great experience. If you do not have the opportunity to have Aristotle had your guide it is a missed opportunity. My wife and I choose to have private guides on almost every trip. We have no question he rates as one of the very top guides we’ve had and we’ve had many good ones.. Highly recommend and you will never be disappointed guiding is his true calling and I’m glad that we had time to spend with him. (Soon to be Dr. G) Michael was an amazing guide. He was super informative and great at maneuvering. Through the crowds that were building. He was able to integrate different aspects that we saw within the Acropolis with items from the museum. He was entertaining and engaging throughout the time. It didn't seem as though it was 4 hours. Acropolis/Parthenon Tour

Vicki (Vasiliki) was our tour guide and she was amazing! She staged our walk up to the top of the Acropolis to keep us in the shade as much as possible, and went slowly enough so that no one was having difficulty keeping up with the group. Her audio equipment worked efficiently and she had an incredible knowledge of everything!

Meteora Monasteries Bus Tour

This tour was absolutely incredible. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to see Meteora in one long day by bus. The pacing was great. There were lots of meal and bathroom stops. Our guide Katerina was so knowledgeable and our bus drivers were safe and terrific. There was only one challenge: the organization at the beginning when everyone was trying to find out what bus we were supposed to be on was utter chaos. There were many buses/companies and since the guides met us later, no one was making announcements or giving us information. If the drivers have all our names on a list, it would be helpful if we were told what bus we were assigned by email or app.

This was a really...

This was a really relaxing trip. We went swimming twice during the cruise. Once on Agistri and the second time anchored off of Moni. The crew was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was great and there was all the beer and wine you could drink. We enjoyed lounging on the front of the boat.
