Positive experience in every aspect.

Our initial booking was cancelled due to storms, but several alternatives we're offered. Communication from the operator was excellent. The boat is clean and comfortable, staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Clear updates were given along the way at every stage. Lots.of information was given about the whales in the area, their behavioural traits and lives. We were lucky to see several pods of orca and a number of hump back whales. In addition there were interesting seabirds, though sadly we failed to notice a passing sea eagle. Participant safety was prioritised, and potential hazards and alternative plans made clear before sailing so that travellers had the option of sailing at a later date. A speaker system on deck would be helpful in identifying sightings to those outdoors on a different deck, otherwise excellent all round.

Fjord Experience of a life time

The check in at the dock was very nice and they helped us with the warm suits. The boat captain Eiric, was amazing. He helped us board the boat and drove us thru the Fjord to the waterfalls. We got close enough to touch the falling waters. It was a beautiful and fun trip and a great experience.

A wonderful evening that more than met our expectations.

What an amazing experience! Ilian drove us safely despite some challenging weather at times, working together with Magda to find a perfect forest location for us to await the arrival of the aurora. Magda was efficient, effective and friendly, sharing information about our locality, scientific background about the aurora, and making sure we knew exactly what was happening along the way . Despite a miserable wet day together they chose a cloud free location and the lights appeared...it was magical! We saw several bursts of light growing and changing over an extended period. Magda took wonderful photos to share, and helped everyone to get the most out of cameras and phones to capture our own images. The camp fire with delicious soup, hot drinks and cookies were a very special part of the whole event. It couldn't have been a better experience, not a better team creating it for us. Huge thanks to Magda and Ilian, you made my bucket list eventually everything I imagined.

Bjarte was the best guide and the sights are beautiful

Bjarte was the best guide ever, he went out of his way to show us as much of the area as possible, including some surprise stops! Bjarte was such a lovely person and I felt honoured to spend the day with him. The tour itself was amazing, the viewpoint and fjords boat tour was beautiful. We also did the Viking tour, the guide on that tour was also very nice and informative. When you get to Flam, try the beer flight at Ægir BrewPub - get a spot inside by the fire. Wonderful day, thank you!

Fab aurora chasing with MAX!!

It was a truly surreal and out-of-this-world experience! We were incredibly lucky that the weather was in our favour that night, making the entire experience even more magical. Max, our guide, was absolutely amazing - knowledgeable, passionate and incredibly hardworking. He explained everything so beautifully and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The entire experience was very well organised and punctual, and the thermal suits they provided were an absolute lifesaver in the cold! Our driver was also extremely kind and wonderful. Everything came together perfectly, and it turned into a night we will remember forever. Absolutely loved it and would wholeheartedly recommend this experience! ✨💚

Aurora hunters extraordinaire

I can’t express how much fun I had. Barbora, Dimitar, Alex were very efficient, highly coordinated in tracking the northern lights and provided amazing informative and fun facts and stories to share around the campfire. We got really lucky to experience a strong aurora that night and the team had been fantastic in capturing the moment for us. Magical experience

The whole experience was amazing! Kat gave us some very interesting and insightful information regarding the northern lights and also Norway in general. We had the luck to see an amazing aurora from very early in our trip and with clear sky. We got it right from our fist stop so we had more time next to the fire and for gazing at the sky and stars✨ 100% recommend 🙏

Great tour for a quintessential Norwegian experience

Very nice ship. Interesting live commentary. First half of the cruise is through the wider fjord, so it gets more dramatic and interesting the further you go. By the end of the fjord you are surrounded by cliffs and waterfalls. Magnificent! Dress warmly if you want to sit outside for the best views.

While in Finland and...

While in Finland and Norway, we enjoyed many arctic activities, but this was our favorite. We’re animal lovers and appreciate a thrill, and this offered both. The people were so kind and educated us on how to do the activity properly but also on how they (and more importantly, the pups!) prepare for it. Although it’s not ideal for children, we brought our 7-year-old and they made it safe and fun for all of us. There are lots of husky opps in the north, but this one appears to be one truly caring for the dogs. The dogs seem happy and are so eager to go for a fun run through the beautiful mountain side. I have no interest in a sport that gratifies me but at the same of the health and happiness of an animal, and these guys seem to do such an amazing job that both humans and pups are healthy and happy to be there.

It was amazing to see the...

It was amazing to see the reindeer herd in their natural environment. It was great to be able to feed them and wander through the herd. We loved the short reindeer ride and appreciated the woollen blanket. The favourite bit for me was the free hot chocolate and biscuits which were available for the duration of the visit. We enjoyed learning about the Sami culture too.
