Experience Norway’s natural wonders on this shore excursion from Geiranger. After a scenic drive through the mountains, hop out for a photo on the dramatic cliff-edge of Flydalsjuvet. Continue to the 4,900-foot (1,500-meter) peak of Mount Dalsnibba, where, after winding along the hairpin bends, you’re rewarded with panoramic views over Geiranger and the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord, before descending to the glittering Lake Djupvatn.

The meeting point is at Geiranger Cruise Terminal, within walking distance from the port and most of the hotels. Look for our staff, yellow jackets, carrying our company logo. Be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Make your way to the meeting point, located within walking distance of the Geiranger port.
Make a brief photo stop at the gorge of Flydalsjuvet, which offers a spectacular panoramic view over Geiranger and the Geirangerfjord.
Continue to Mount Dalsnibba where the Geiranger Skywalk viewpoint juts out from the edge and provides panoramic views over Geiranger and Geirangerfjord.
Back in the vehicle, descent to Lake Djupvatn for a photo stop before continuing along the Ørnesvegen, (Eagle Road), which swings through 11 hairpin bends. Enjoy the view from the Ørnesvingen viewpoint, at the highest of the hairpins.
After a return journey to Geiranger, your tour ends back at the meeting point.

Rest assured that this will not lessen the duration or the quality of the tour.

Great tour of the Geiranger fjord and mountains. Excellent way to see and experience the natural beauty of this area.
The prettiest place I think I've ever been. We got lucky with absolutely perfect weather. Our guide Alisa, and our driver were AMAZING. We learned so much on this tour. Alisa was so knowledgeable not only about where we were going and about Geiringer, but made great recommendations for things to do, like visiting the waterfall and things to eat while in Norway. She also was helpful with photo spots and taking photos for people as well. This tour was nothing short of 10/10 from start to finish.
This place is what everyone envisions when you think fjord. This place is incredibly beautiful

This is a must do activity in Geiranger. We were able to see the glaciers up close and the highest viewpoint. Our driver was highly experienced to be able to maneuver the hairpin roads going up the Dalsnibba. Our tour guide was awesome, she provided valuable insight and historical information about Norway and the Vikings.
The ride over to the Loen Skylift from Nordfjordeid and back was just as much a part of the excursion. It is one of the most beautiful routes I have taken. The scenic mountain views were amazing! The driver was fantastic and offered information when he thought it would be of everyone’s interests. A very stress free, smooth and relaxing excursion. Thank you!
Well worth doing to see awesome views. This has been put favourite port and favourite excursion of the trip. The views are truly amazing and utterly breathtaking taking. Really gives perspective to the beauty and wonder of this amazing country and landscape.

What a bus ride. Many hairpin turns, close to the edge. But it was worth every white knuckle turn, you were rewarded with beautiful sites that will never be duplicated with pictures. You must see with your own eyes.
We had a great experience on this tour. Our guide was excellent, she provided a wealth of knowledge. The bus was very nice, clean, and modern. The itinerary was well-timed and we were able to see so much in the short period of time. I would recommend this for the future.
Excellent tour! Glad we had a great driver who could manage all those switchbacks up to Dalnisba and the Eagle Road. The stops gave us plenty of time to enjoy the views.

Love Geiranger! Tour was very nice! Spectacular view points! But… be aware this is a large bus going up to a 5,000 ft high mountain! If you suffer from car sick you better take your medicine for that! Roads are small and there were times where I closed my ayes to no look down the roads! That was a bit stressful but when you get to the top of Mount Dalsnibba you’ll get rewarded! Views are everything! The nice coffee shop with the view and smell of cinnamon roll will calm you down! Lol! Overall was a beautiful experience! We enjoyed this so much! Tour operator very responsible and on time!

This was the absolute best excursion on my trip in Norway, small quaint little town that took you through all the seasons if you go to Mt. D. Breathtaking pictures and views. And if the little shop is open at the top you will be greeted with the comforting smell of cinnamon and you must try their freshly baked cinnamon rolls- I got mine still steaming - SO GOOD

The mountain roads via bus are incredible. The snow cap views from the peak are memorable. Tour guide is the best!

Check each tour with the operator to make sure you have the same tour time with them that was on your confirmed tickets because they changed the time with us without any notification at all.

Thank you for your review of our excursion in Geiranger. We're sorry to hear you felt that we were disorganized, but it seems Viator allowed you to rebook your tour to a sold out departure time. You were always in our booking system for our 12:30 excursion. We can see in Viator you created 3 separate bookings for the same tour, cancelling 2 and keeping 1 which you were then allowed to amend to a departure time that was sold out (which is why you stayed on our 12:30 departure time in our system). We have repeatedly had this issue with Viator allowing guests to move their booking to a sold out tour and have asked them multiple times to work with us to resolve these issues. We are sorry that you were affected by Viator allowing you to change your booking on their end in this way, when it was a sold out tour with your tour operator.
In the event that we do have to move a guest's departure time we always notify them in advance by both sms and email/Viator message. Nevertheless, we do hope that you enjoyed your excursion with us and that you had a fantastic vacation here in Norway!
Wonderful tour. Amazing sights from the top of the mountain. The drive up was a bit intimidating due to the hairpin turns, however the driver was skilled. The tour guide was fascinating.

The road up the mountain is pretty scary but we had a very experienced bus driver .. and our guide was lovely.. the views amazing and we were lucky as we had great weather
