Itinerary
Upon arrival in Haugesund, meet your guide just steps from the dock, jump on board your vehicle, and settle in for a drive of around 1.5 hours to the dramatic Langfoss waterfall. Along the way, make a stop at the Haraldshaugen national monument, which commemorates the unification of Norway in a single kingdom.

The tour took us through some beautiful scenic areas and ultimately to the Langfoss waterfall which was spectacular! Our guide, Lilly, and bus driver Gary, were excellent. Lilly gave us lots of information about this area of Norway and had lots of facts for us. I would highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour….beautiful scenery and superb commentary by Hans. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history and background about Norway.

It's 1.5 hours from the cruise port to reach Langfoss Waterfall but it was a terrific waterfall. Afterwards we were able to stop by a restaurant/convenience store for a quick bite before heading back to Haugesund.

It’s an hour and a half bus ride to the falls. But our guide was very entertaining during the ride. We enjoyed seeing he old church and I particularly liked the lullaby that was sung to keep the trolls asleep.

This trip is incredible. Our guide Aline was so knowledgeable. She kept us all engaged throughout the trip. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and driver Gary. We had a great day out for half the price of the cruise ship tour. Aline and Gary we thank you so much.

It was a very interesting tour. Christina was very friendly and well informed. She told us also many things about Norway, not only about the Langfossen waterfall.
We can highly recommend the tour.

The guide was excellent however the trip was not the same as what I purchased. We saw only one waterfall and it was lovely but I didn’t feel like I got what I paid for.

Fabulous from start to finish Aline and Garry the driver were extremely informative and funny every stop was worth the time plenty of photo opts and chocolate too from Aline She was exceptional and whatever you are paying her you should double as I can imagine other companies snatching her away from you as she is very good

Bus ride to the Falls, the driver took us on a old road that had been built by germans with POW's in WWII. Our tour guide Lilly was excellent.

Lilly is a very wonderful tour guide. Showed us the waterfall from a different direction. Then took us down a smaller road that was just so amazing! Thank you Lilly.

Phenomenal experience w Lilly. The best tour guide around. We could not ask for a more pleasant, fun, and educational experience. This tour provides many extras you other companies do not provide. You will not regret it. She also turned us on to the best chocolate in Norway!! A&&&

Very nice tour of the waterfall and the drive to it was gorgeous. Lily, our tour guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and humorous, which made the whole experience great. She made sure we got to see everything out of the tour while at the same time making sure we got back to our ship on time. The meeting location was literally on the pier as soon as you get off the ship, which made everything easier.
Venkitasamy_B, Sep 2025
Trip was cancelled as ship unable to dock due to adverse weather conditions. Expecting for a full refund but advised only 80% refund when contacted the tour operator. Only 75% refunded when checked the refund amount.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Unfortunately, the cruise ship canceled its docking just one hour before the scheduled arrival time. As a result, we had already incurred expenses such as transportation, guides, and port fees.
Even though, according to our booking terms and conditions, no refund was required in this situation, we still issued a partial refund of 75% of your reservation as a gesture of goodwill.
And on top of that, you leave us with such a negative review? It's unfair !!

Very picturesque waterfall. As there's not a lot to see in haugesund it's well worth a visit. The guide was very knowledgeable and chatty.
Dave_G, Sep 2025
Unfortunately we couldn’t actually dock this day due to weather being too windy so was disappointed we didn’t get to do the trip. We were really looking forward to it as well but obviously safety comes first. I have given 5 stars because Viator have been excellent with communication from the start of booking and although this was no fault of theirs they still gave a 75% refund which we thought was really decent and generous of them so thank you 😊

A truly lovely trip, the waterfall is beautiful. Lilly our guide was absolutely brilliant, full of interesting face and funny stories, both she and our coach driver Thomas were very flexible and were happy to accommodate requests. Thank you both we all enjoyed our day so much.

The weather maybe raining but it is warm during September. Over and hour bus journey both way's. Gillian

The instructions and ease of finding from our ship was exemplar. Our guide was super informative and engaging. It was quite a long way to get to the falls but at least we got to see some of Norway that we had not seen on shorter tours. Our guide Alina was charming and told us lots of information. The tour was also cheaper than identical ship tour
David_V, Aug 2025
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience on this tour, which showcased breathtaking scenery that was truly awe-inspiring and perfect for photography enthusiasts.
Our tour guide, Jamie, enhanced the trip with her insightful knowledge of the location and its history. She also kept us entertained with her humor and concluded the tour with an engaging quiz.
Thank you for this wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this trip and our tour guide.

A lot of driving, but top tier driver and tour guide .
Note that the waterfall can be a little underwhelming if no rain. Overall great tho.
Kiran_C, Aug 2025
Amazing experience. Driver Gary(Gerr) was amazing. Drove us on the original Oslo highway to show us the spectacular views. Guide Lily was amazing and shared a lot of fun facts and the way of Norwegian living. Overall, great experience and we had fun.

This tour is a must do. Highly recommended. Although we were supposed to get on in Haugesund, it worked out great since we boarded in Olden
