Vatican museums tour
My son and thoroughly enjoyed the tour, Cosimo was excellent- friendly, personable and hugely knowledgeable, he made the tour a very enjoyable experience. We have had 2 tours now with City Wonders and i would strongly recommend them-very well organised and both excellent guides. Cosimo is a an asset to the company.

Rome In A Day
My dream has always been to experience Rome and the Coliseum but nothing could have prepared me for the amazingly thoughtful and informative experience I had with our guide Barbara (Barbie). From step one she was fully aware of everyone in the group providing what seemed like an individualized experience to each of us though we couldn’t have been more connected. Her explanation of the histories of the coliseum and Rome overall were extraordinarily detailed and allowed my cousin and I to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. We never got a chance to ask questions because she seemed to instinctively know what what we would ask and effortlessly answered the questions without them ever being asked. I truly enjoyed and appreciated how she had diagrams and other tangible learning tools for the group to review and share during the tour to assist us with having a thorough understanding of all we were experiencing. All I can say is the movies don’t do true Roman history justice but Barbara 100% did!! My forever nickname for her is now “Athena.” If you know, you know. Even though my cousin and I had to depart from the tour early because he was pickpocketed right before the tour began and we had to go to the police station because they caught the guy, we made it all the way to the Forum and continued getting an amazing history lesson. I will definitely be returning for another tour and I hope Barbra is still tour guiding because she was the best!!!

Max was a great and knowledgeable guide. He made sure we were all with him and was very welcoming. I would not visit the louvre without a guide as it is too much to take in in my opinion. It was way too crowded for my taste but maybe this was because it was closing the next day due to the protest

Our guide gave us the history of the Colosseum, and we were shown the inside from lower and higher perspectives while he was telling us about the gladiators and the animals that they had to fight. He also told us about who was seated where and for what reason which I found interesting.

There’s so much to do and see when you visit Europe, and a tour is a great way to learn about a new city from an expert guide. These Europe tours offer everything from small-group food tours that teach you about a new culture while sampling its local foods, to Christmas market tours where you can meet local craftspeople and see cities sparkle under twinkling lights. If you are visiting during busy summer months, skip-the-line tours are a great way to see historical sights like the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower, and the Vatican without braving the notorious crowds.
