What are people saying about Edinburgh

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the castle and its history. He also had a good sense of humour, which kept the tour upbeat. The tour includes only the outside areas within the castle as large groups aren't able to fit in certain indoor areas. However, once you have your ticket, you're free to explore the indoor portions for the rest of the day once the tour ends. The guide was helpful in this area by recommending certain buildings or rooms he considered of particular importance or interest to see.

Wonderful to go to St Andrews. We are golfers and were thrilled to go to St Andrews. It is a quaint little town on the east coast of Scotland. We also enjoyed the museum of golfing and playing on the putting green. I was not impressed with the other parts of the trip like. The town of Falkland and Fife but. They were minor stops. Our driver Fitz was a good driver and guide.

Excellent tour with Highland Experiences! The day was long, but they made every effort to make you comfortable on the tour bus and with stops along the way. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Scottish history and obviously proud of his Scottish identity - wonderful to listen to his stories and experiences. The highlight was Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle - bucket list place for us! We could easily have spent more time there. The scenery throughout the day was magnificent and a perfect way to see the Highlands if you are limited on time in Scotland.

Highly recommend
James was wonderful and entertaining and quite full of information of the history of the royal mile and castle. The group size of 8 was ideal to be nimble enough to maneuver around the larger groups. Would highly recommend. The tour is entirely outdoors so, dress appropriately as the wind can be quite strong once at the castle. Also plan on exploring the castle for a bit after the tour.
