This one was full of history about Amsterdam and what the city went through during WWII, the Jews and their plight before and during WWII, as well as other interesting historical facts. We had plenty of time to ask questions and have discussions. The Anne Frank house experience was very sobering, while detailing what life was like in hiding. Definitely an experience anyone interested in history should book.

Just Do It!

Our early morning canal cruise with Captain Dave was a fabulous introduction to Amsterdam on our first day. Jan was a great guide providing excellent commentary and information about Amsterdam interspersed with humor and wit. The canals were so peaceful and quiet in the morning allowing us to take in the beauty of the city. I highly recommend this tour - you’ll not be disappointed.

Amazing visual experience

It's very hard to get Ann Frank house entrance unless you book well in advance and we didnt! This tour is probably better and we had a great experience with Guido our guide. He was very knowledgeable and informative about a grave situation, answering all our questions with thought and consideration. The walk was interesting and the VR experience amazing! You get to see the house exactly how it was and are not rushed at all. The actual house now is unfurnished but the VR display was furnished and very realistic. I would highly recommend this tour.

Fun Day

We went on the Amsterdam Canal Tour by Open Boat, July 23. It was a small group. Our captain, Joe, had us introduce ourselves with a brief comment about ourselves before the tour began. When the boat started moving Joe told us how the canals came to be, and how Amsterdam got its name. He talked about interesting sites as we made our way through the canals. We all shouted out questions along the way, and Joe gladly answered them. It’s a fun informative 90 minutes. We’re glad we didn’t miss this tour!

Captain Don and bartender Lemone were very knowledgeable and humorous in their narration of the tour. The umbrellas provided much needed relief from the 94 degree heat of the day. Drinks were provided and refills regularly checked on. Lots of fun and highly recommend unless rain is threatening.

Absolutely LOVED the Bulldog Boat Tour in Amsterdam 🚤💨🌿 Captain Roman and Mia were the DREAM team — absolutely hilarious from start to finish while somehow also packing the tour with super interesting Amsterdam fun facts, history, stories, and hidden gems along the canals. The perfect mix of laughs, chill vibes, sightseeing, and good times. 😂👏🏽 You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and their energy makes the whole experience feel like hanging out with funny friends who happen to know everything about the city. Between the jokes, music, and beautiful views, the entire boat was vibing. If you’re in Amsterdam and debating a canal tour… THIS is the one. Hands down one of the highlights of my trip. 10/10 recommend. 🇳🇱

Very pleasant experience, definitely worth it!

Very nice journey, the guide was very helpful and gave good recommendations to go around the city. Very caring too, provided a blanket so I dont get cold, warm tea and even had umbrellas in case it rained. The information was short, but good for an overview/first visit.

Beautiful and interesting tour

This tour was fantastic! Keukenhof gardens was gorgeous! so much color!! We had a beautiful day and this was the perfect place to be outside and walking around the gardens! The playground was perfect for the little kids! and then off to Zaanse Schans Windmills which were amazing to see and so picturesque! Santiago was a wonderful tour guide and took good care of us. We were very happy we went on this beautiful and interesting tour.

Pizza boat trip

easy to find , got aboard and was asked which pizza we would like and had about 5 options, alcohol was included this consisted of wine or beer but soft drinks also included, nuts was also on the table To nibble on , staff on the boat was very friendly. We had a lovely evening the pizza was lovely but I would say , more information/history should be given as a lot of the trip itself the guide was not talking through which was a shame , canals looked beautiful at night and we are glad we done the trip

She was funny, extremely knowledgable, and is a real local of the area we toured. She had an excellent relationship with all the vendors that we visited. She was very engaged with each person on the tour.
