Fantastic Night Canal Cruise in Amsterdam! Our guide was born and raised in Amsterdam and it showed! He was friendly, honest, genuine, self-deprecating, and genuinely funny. He shared great history along with personal anecdotes that I could actually relate to, which made the whole tour feel much more personal and enjoyable. We booked the 9:00 pm slot specifically to see the city lights, and it was the perfect choice. Having already seen the daytime views, the nighttime contrast was beautiful and really highlighted the canals in a whole new way. The snacks and drinks provided were just the right amount, especially since we had already eaten dinner beforehand. My wife, her sister, her husband, and I all thoroughly enjoyed the full two hours. It was a highlight of our trip! **Only tiny suggestion:** Adding some soft background music would enhance the ambience even more. Other than that, it was excellent – highly recommend!

This was a great ride...

This was a great ride with some stops on our way out to the country. Our guide Skip was informative and very upbeat and pleasant. The village we road through was beautiful. The cheese we had at the farm was delicious! I'm a fairly seasoned bicyclist and would not recommend this tour to someone who hadn't been on a bike recently. It was a great way to get out and see the outskirts of Amsterdam.

Jan did such a nice job as our Captain. I really enjoyed learning the stories of the history of Amsterdam and the Netherlands! In addition, he did a wonderful job describing the different parts of the canals, the buildings and the city. Sipko our guide was extremely friendly, spoke English well, gave a clear directions, and ensured our safety. He showed interest in where we are from, Canada. He was well versed in Amsterdam and area history. Time very well spent in the countryside, that you normally wouldn’t when visiting the area. The Apple Pie stop was also a highlight.

A long day trip but worth it. Great guides!

This was a wonderful experience! The bus was comfortable and our guide Claudia was organized and informative. Then our walking guide in Bruges was also very knowledgeable and also entertaining. He also did a really nice job of keeping track of everyone in the group and waiting to talk until everyone could hear him. It is a full day trip from Amsterdam, so be prepared for the time. But we felt it was worth it.

Cruising in style

The Salon style boat was the perfect choice for the chill of the morning. Its transparent roof allowed us to better view the homes along the canals. Its electric motor was quiet and fume free. The Guide/pilot was competent and very knowledgeable of the local history of Amsterdam. I would thoroughly recommend Captain Dave's Boat Tour to everyone.

Best tour amd tour guide in Amsterdam!

This tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide Chris was second to none. He took his time, cared what we were interested in and gave us a tour that not just focused on Anne Frank but on the city itself since my family and I did not know much about Amsterdam. We had a few stops at cafés to warm up which were needed on a cold day. This tour is a strong 5 out of 5. The company was extremely accommodating and was very easy to communicate with. The Anne Frank house is very heavy and im so happy that my family got to see it, all of which was handled as part of this tour. With that said I dont know that we would have fully understood what we were seeing and how many Jewish people were taken from Amsterdam alone and how few returned without Chris giving us the history behind the story of Anne Frank and we definitely wouldnt have known much about the city itself but feel we do now. I highly recommend any tours with this company and Chris specifically, thank you guys so much!

Beautiful Fine Dining Amsterdam Cruise

The nighttime dinner cruise highlighted the Amsterdam Light Show which was spectacular. The captain provided interesting information about the Amsterdam canals. Along the way, we were provided an amazing 3 course meal. My husband enjoyed a steak and I sea bass. The meal was delicious and ended with a pistachio cheese cake. We highly recommend this cruise experience and feel that it was the highlight of our Amsterdam experience! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

A total Vibe!

The total cruise was an absolute vibe! From the moment we boarded until we disembarked. The guide was both knowledgeable and engaging and quite witty with his humor. Highly recommend it's you're a smoker or not. My husband and brother partook while my sister and I did not but they had a nice rose wine and beer for purchase asking with water and sodas. Would totally do this tour again!
