Great tour with a well informed guide.

Excellent walk around town with Alexander. Very knowledgeable guide. He didn't rush the group and always allowed time for questions. As a bonus, he gave us a very helpful guide to his favorite restaurants outside of the tourist areas as well as an outstanding lunch recommendation about a 15 minute walk from the end of the tour, Cafe de Jaren.

We had a great time seeing Amsterdam from a different perspective after walking the city all day. The captain, and captain-in-training, were very friendly and offered the right amount of conversation, insights about the city history, and service that made the evening very enjoyable. The food was very good, just the right amount and pacing to enjoy conversation and the sights. I highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting the city.

Our guide was excellent. Being an artist herself she made very insightful remarks about the various artists and their paintings.. she made the tour very interesting that even my husband who is anti museums, loved the tour and said he learned a lot, not only about the arts but also the history of Amsterdam, their tradings, and how the country as a whole reaped the benefits of such tradings.. we both truly enjoyed the tour .
