Meet at Mike’s Bike Tours Amsterdam, Oosterdoksstraat 106, a few minutes from Central Station. Exit the front, turn left past the DoubleTree Hotel to the OBA building. We’re at the back of that structure. Arrive 15 minutes early to get set up for your tour.

Your tour begins in central Amsterdam at your chosen time. Meet your guide and small group, and grab your bike and helmet.
Take a quick ferry ride over the IJ river, passing by landmarks including the EYE Film Institute and the Krijtmolen d'Admiraal windmill.
The short tour covers 14 miles (23 kilometers) and uses a standard bike. Pass charming medieval villages such as Zunderdorp and Ransdorp, and spot local landmarks along the way.
If you've chosen the long tour, ride your electric bike through some 23 miles (37 kilometers) of countryside, making a stop at a traditional Dutch cheese farm and a wooden clog workshop.
Your tour ends back at the original departure point.

- Mike’s Bike Tours Amsterdam and its owners are not responsible for damages or injuries incurred during any of our tours or activities.
- Lunch is not included. Feel free to bring your own picnic or snacks for the route or at the cheese farm.
- Tours run rain or shine, so dress for the weather.

Do this tour! It’s an amazing way to see the countryside of Amsterdam and get out of the hectic city for a few hours. Our tour guide was friendly and insightful, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Amsterdam.

Very fun bicycle excursion. Our guide Simon was both knowledgeable and funny. This excursion allowed us to go out into the countryside and see a different and beautiful part about of Amsterdam. We visited several cute villages and also a clog and cheese making business which was fun. We highly recommend this tour.

What a great experience. The land is so flat making the biking so easy. It rained a little, but no problem with our rain jackets that were provided for us.

My favorite tour in Amsterdam! Rafa was such a great tour guide and the e-bikes made it so easy for this couple hour tour. Absolutely beautiful bike ride, great clog and cheese tour, and wonderful way to get out of the city. The scenery and history along the way was what made the trip, and there were pauses along the way to interact with the group. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide was Annemarie. She was amazing! My partner and I booked a group tour, however it ended up being just the two of us which made this experience even better for us. Annemarie explained everything so well, and also went at a pace that was comfortable for us with biking for the first time in Amsterdam. The e-bikes were great for the long distance. We loved stopping at the cheese & clog farm too! The best cheese!! This tour was great :)

We are glad that we did this bike tour. Check in was quick and easy. We met Rafa, our friendly guide, and we were assigned bikes. The bikes were easy to use and had a bag to put stuff in. We rode the ferry and then followed the path out to the country. Our guide was great! He told us a lot of information/ history about the different areas. We enjoyed tasting the different cheeses and purchased the one we liked the best. We loved seeing the cute small towns. The entire tour was a wonderful experience!

Beautiful tour of countryside..open green fields and animals among the canals. Was windy but no problem on e-bike. Cheese and clog stop was fun…Stephen the presenter was a hoot! Thanks to Christian who led the tour and provided insight along the way as to what we were seeing and how all the canals are connected.

This was a great tour. Our guide, Christian, was excellent. The ride was 23 miles, but the electric bikes made it easy. It was a unique way to see the countryside outside of Amsterdam.

The bike riding was great… saw lots of the countryside and canals. The pull ferry across a small canal was particularly memorable. The cheese and clog demonstration was “cheesy” and “clunky.” Would have preferred more time in a little town or biking than at the tourist trap.

This was a fantastic bike ride! Simon, the guide was exceptional. He made us feel very comfortable on the e-bikes and provided lots of information along the ride at various stops. Wonderful tour! Such a cool experience. Biking is done in some busy traffic areas and on narrow pathways so can be tricky for inexperienced bikers, and I think that is worth noting. It is not a « relaxed bike ride » by any means. You bike steady with only a few short stops. It was wonderful to see the countryside. Totally worth it. Our family had a great time!

The country ride bike tour was a highlight of my time in Amsterdam - the ride was leisurely and our tour guide, Christian, made sure no one was left behind. On the tour we stopped in two quaint villages and also stopped at a super cute clog maker/cheese farm where we were able to taste some delicious cheese and wine and learn about the process of making both and also stopped at a wind mill. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun outing!
