It’s a long day, and...
It’s a long day, and covers so much. Tectonic plates, amazing waterfall, a (not so impressive) geyser with interesting bubbling pools nearby, a crater, a town abandoned following an earthquake and lava flow, and a thermal pool that warms one inside and out. Thore was a wonderful guide.

Beautiful Tour
I had read some reviews about going to the blue lagoon first instead of last and that is what happened to us. I know that they do that so that we don't have big lines to wait in. We didn't mind doing the lagoon first, but having a cocktail in there at 9:30am was a little weird. The rest of the trip was great. Absolutely beautiful scenery and quite a few stops which made the day go by fast. Our guide was Addy (sp?) He told us a lot about all the lava and volcanoes. It was interesting and informative.

Gold Circle tour review
In order to enjoy the tour, the traveler should be able to walk to the sights. While this is a bus tour, the destinations themselves are not visible from the bus. The guide was very knowledgeable. This tour was a good “taste” of Iceland for those with limited time.

This is a must do trip.
Let me tell you, I was blown away by the natural beauty of snaefellsnes. I did the south coast but this is one is just as good especially if you are a game of thrones fan the kirkjufell mountain is a beauty. The van was very comfortable, Axel our driver was very friendly and informative and the tour didn't feel like a long drive, because there was so much to see and so many stops to make.

Journey comfortably through the magnificent landscapes of Iceland without having to navigate yourself on an Iceland day trip. Tours typically cover must-see stops in the Golden Circle, which comprises waterfalls, geysers, and moss-covered mountains, as well as the famous Blue Lagoon. Some cap your day off with a magnificent show of the northern lights, while others transport you to active volcanic craters, but all of them guarantee a memorable day of exploration.
