Amazing, this Golden Circle adventure was an absolute dream! Walking directly between the tectonic plates at Thingvellir was surreal. Watching the Strokkur geyser erupt into the sky and feeling the raw, thundering power of Gullfoss waterfall was breathtaking. The landscapes felt otherworldly.

Minibus was uncomfortable, waterfall and geyser are the highlights

Marc_E, Jun 2026
The driver showed up right on time meeting us at the cruise terminal as agreed. Although the minibus was a Mercedes, there was virtually no leg room between seats and the a/c and heat did not work, which made it very uncomfortable. The driver really tried to help with the temperature control but she got no support from the front office. She was knowledgeable and her accented English was understandable. The waterfall is can't miss, the geyser takes time to spout but is nice, the crater is nice to look at for 5-10 minutes and there is a dangerous walk down it. The national park with the tectonic plates was underwhelming. It's a very long day in cramped quarters.

Iceland golden Circle

Very good trip hitting all the highlights and our driver/guide Elaina was great. Pickup and drop off at cruise ship very convenient and on time

Ok experience

Gazala_K, Jun 2026
First the guide was from Italy and he was not as passionate about Iceland like a native Icelander. Second the mike was glitching and we sitting in the back missed out on what the guide was saying on top of it he was not that knowledgeable I figured out stuff googling as we we were driving. So it felt more like a taxi driver driving us from one point to another the rest we had to figure out ourselves

Paul did not disappoint!! Great day all around!

Paul was a top notch driver and guide!! So much great information and history for each stop we made! He even added a few unique inplanned stops. Always pleasant and you knew he enjoyed his job!!

Great tour. Excellent guide. Well trained would definitely book this tour again. Small group was fantastic.

Great afternoon tour!

Fayyaz_K, Jun 2026
Yakub was friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable throughout the tour. He made everyone feel welcome and ensured we had a great experience from start to finish. The trip was well organized, enjoyable, and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland.

Fantastic tour with added bonuses

Deuward_B, Jun 2026
This tour was fantastic! Bruno, our guide, was so friendly and knowledgable. Besides the scheduled stops, which included the spectacular sights of Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Falls, Geysir Hot Springs and a volcanic crater, he took us to a farm where we had delicious ice cream and a stop to see some iconic Icelandic horses. Arctic Adventures is a wonderful tour group. When my partner left his prescription glasses on the bus, we went by their offices which were a ten minute walk from the cruise port. Not only did they find them. Viggo, the operations manager, also volunteered to give us a ride to our hotel. We can't say enough good things about Arctic Adventures.

Breakdowns happen but it could have been handled better

Keith_B, Jun 2026
Tour operator doesn’t put customers first. Bus breaks down an hour out of Reykjavik. Initially guide told they’d dispatch another truck immediately. Fleet manager instead waits to it replacement vehicle on back off tow truck to come out. Two hour delay vs one hour. The guide, Isabella was fantastic. Tour operator however chose to save his money vs putting customer first

Golden Circle Tour

Elissa_W, Jun 2026
The sights were all wonderful. Kerid should be skipped. It's not worth the time. Much more time should be allowed at Gullfoss and Thengvillar. Too much time at Geyser. This could have been a 20 minute stop, but it was an hour. Tour guide was very good, but more knowledge about the landscape/geology would have been helpful

Nice tour but horrible driver

Shirley_R, Jun 2026
The driver Rebecca ruined my trip. I had booked a single ticket but met some other people on the cruise so we were total 4. It so happened that 3 of us were on one bus and the fourth ended up on another bus. Rebecca said we could only get on the bus together if we all 4 sat at the very back. Well we tried but it was terribly uncomfortable for the four of us back there. So I moved to a single seat and Rebecca proceded to yell at me in front of all the other customers. Why can't you move to the back seat? (she should try sitting there for 6 hours). She said "I want to keep the single seats so that other people are not separated". That did not make sense since only singles (us) would normally sit in a single seat. As it happened, the final people to board were a couple who wanted to sit together (and not in the single seats that Rebecca didn't want us to have). So they wanted to sit together in the back seats. I feel that drivers should not tell passengers where to sit. We have paid a lot of money for this tour and deserve a comfortable seat. Horrible driver who should learn about customer service and not yell at guests.

Bruno was an awesome guide. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe. He was well informed and helped us appreciate Iceland’s beauty.

Very good tour with an excellent guide; however, pickup at the port was very disorganized. Nine unnumbered buses from the operator parked all around the lot, and you had to go to each one to find the one you were assigned.

Well worth the money

Paul_J, Jun 2026
A good way to see some of the wonders of Iceland. Visited the site of the first parliament, which is also where the tectonic plates are visible, a geyser which spouts every few minutes, a spectacular set of waterfalls, and the site of an extinct volcano. A big shout out to Casper the guide, who was very knowledgeable on all of the above, as well as on Iceland and Icelandic life generally.

Amazing natural sights

Ken_C, Jun 2026
Saw 4 sights on this tour...each very different: gullfoss waterfall, the geysir, kerid crater, and thingvellir national park. Stops are short (25-40 minutes)...so you do feel a bit rushed...just enough time for a few pictures, few minutes in the visitor center, and bathroom break. And, each stop was pretty crowded (no fault of the tour operator) given peak season (early june). The mini-bus was warm with very little air flowing and it was hard to hear the driver speaking towards the back of the bus. Bathroom facilities are available at each stop. It is a great way to see the major attractions of the Golden circle...

A great way to see unique features of Iceland. In particular, seeing the tectonic plates in action was amazing.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommended

Steven_G, Jun 2026
This is an awesome experience and the sites on this tour are breathtaking! There’s plenty of time to see them. Frederica, our tour driver, was amazing

Kimberly_K, Jun 2026
Great way to see golden circle. I would have liked more time at the waterfall and maybe less at the geyser but that not the worst thing

A good guide makes a the difference, this was not it

Donna_O, Jun 2026
The sites where amazing, but the guide did not explain anything except the basics, just pointed and sent us on our way. On any other tour I have done the guide will at least walk with you to the viewing area and explain things to look at or the history. Guide was not engaged in the tour.

Informative, entertaining and comfortable!

LAURA_P, Jun 2026
The tour company, Arctic Adventures, were very kind when we overslept and almost missed the tour! They arranged for us a 15 min grace and I’m so glad, we had such a great time with Ouree—sp? Our guide who told good stories, played beautiful Icelandic music and diligently kept us on schedule! The van was very comfortable, it was a great way to see many of the big sites in a relatively short time!

Lots to see

Cindy_S, May 2026
This tour hits all the highlights of the area. They were spectacular! The bus trip was comfortable. There were enough bathroom breaks. The time allowed isn’t long enough. The tour should start at 10:00 or 11:00 instead of 12:00. Because of time constraints, we weren’t able to walk in most areas of each attraction. The guide shared information along the route and pointed out different things, but was vague when directing us as to where to look. I still would recommend this tour.

Iceland waterfall

Melissa_S, May 2026
The waterfall was the best part of the tour. Spend more time at the waterfall and less at the other sites would enhance the tour.

Great tour - our guide Justin was awesome. Great knowledge, funny and very accommodating. The tour was well planned out and being able to name a pickup point was great.

Awe inspiring views

Dwight_C, May 2026
The Golden Circle tour is a must do - each person in our 3 person had a different highlight - my son was wowed by viewing the tectonic plates, me by watching the geyser billow massive amounts of steam, and my husband by the gorgeous waterfall. We prefer small tours, and our guide was very upbeat, accommodating, and informative. Some guests were late, which delayed the start of the tour, but none of the spots were rushed.

It’s a shorter tour so moves quickly from stop to stop but our guide did a great job maximizing time.

Franklin was great. Very knowledgeable and honest. Gave us history and opinions and we enjoyed that.

Half Day Golden Circle - Outstanding!

ROBIN_B, May 2026
This is an exceptional way to see the natural wonders of Iceland in a half day tour. The guide (Rebecca) balanced the whole tour with great information, wonderful driving and excellent good humor. The tour stops were just the right length and varied.

A full and enjoyable day touring Great Circle
