What are people saying about Iceland

Don't miss this one!
Amazing tour, very knowledgeable guide who spent every moment educating us about the geography, history and culture of Iceland. The sights were phenomenal, and after a long day of travelling it was great to soak in the secret lagoon, Icelands oldest natural pool. I will never forget this trip, thank you so much to our guide!

A Memorable Trip
What a great trip to see some of Icelands best sights. Lots of interesting commentary from the driver throughout. Extinct volcanic craters, geyser, waterfalls, geothermal park and all on the tour. The highlight though was Hvammsvik geothermal pools, a 2 hour stop that will last in my memory for a long time. Don't forget to have a quick dip in the ocean as well!

I've been on a couple of tours around Iceland now and would definitely say that this one is the best. The scenery on the peninsula is absolutely breathtaking and every stop was so worth it, but we especially loved Ytri Tunga, where we were lucky enough to see some seals on the rocks and playing in the water. Our guide, Gulli, was friendly and engaging and kept us entertained the whole way round which is quite a feat with all the driving! Would highly recommend taking this tour :)

We went on this tour a couple of days ago and had a fabulous time. We were super lucky with the weather but all the spots we stopped at would have been stunning in any weather. Highly recommend taking the opportunity to go down onto the beach at Vik and taking the path behind the waterfall at Seljalandsfoss (if you've got waterproofs!). Our guide Marieke was lovely and got us around smoothly.

Great whistle-stop tour of the Golden Circle highlights
Great way to see the main highlights of the Golden Circle if you only have a few days in Iceland.
Would have preferred slightly longer to explore each stop - the views are breathtaking! - but understand there was a lot to pack in!
The onboard commentary from Sunny was pitch perfect - informative and interesting, without being overloading - and with a sense of humour too!

Kid friendly and it’ll take your breath away!
Went with my two kids, the youngest being nine. The guide was very helpful and accommodating. At times it was hard for my youngest to keep up so the guide had us join him in the front to set the pace, which I think everyone was happy to slow down lol.

Grateful for the experience
Being physically active seniors in our seventies we were pushing the upper age range for the glacier hike. Our joyful guide Beth made the hike fun, safe, and interesting. John the other guide who drove us around the South Coast was very accommodating. The trip was an experience of a lifetime and we were grateful for having this opportunity.

A morning on a glacier
This was a once in a lifetime experience on a glacier. Our guide, Radic (sp?), was great at making sure we were safe as well as providing a lot of knowledge about the glacier.
We started in groups and learned how to put on equipment. After about 20 min. drive from the camp to the hike start site, we separated into groups on 12 to a guide and headed up a steep climb (~20 min) to where we could see the glacier and put on our crampons. The tour spends about 3.5 hours on the glacier exploring an ice cave and a few crevasses.
Would definitely recommend. We were in the last days of the excursion offering before the weather made access to the cave inaccessible due to Spring melt.

Awesome intro, guides very good
Intro to Ice Climbing, in this experience you get geared up and hike up the glacier tongue to an area to practise Ice climbing. The guides attach a screw into the top of ice wall and belay the rope to keep you secure. Individually you ascend with your crampons on then abseil down, Our experience was with 2 guides Monica and Lucas who were awesome and made it really enjoyable for me and my brother. The guides keep you safe and make it so much fun cos of their enthusiasm. A massive shout out to the tour bus driver from Arctic Adventures, (could not spell your name I remember it began with H), he made regular stops including at gas station to refuel and even pulls over on way back just outside reykjavik for our group to see the starting of the aurora. Such a special tour

Great experience
Tour starts in the lagoon, you drive with huge terrain vehicle to the glacier around 30min. Then you hike to the cave around 10min. I like that tour is in a small group, around 10 people, compared with other providers with 20+ people. Cave is beautiful! Our guide was very sweet and funny, also sharing really interesting facts about glacier history, cave formation process etc. He was also very helpful, doing photos of everyone and made us feel very welcome. Genuinely recommended.

Thanks Edgar and Natalia!
This was the highlight of my trip to Iceland. When can you say you hiked a glacier? My partner and I went to iceland in October when there was record snowfall- 18inches! We still managed to make the trek from Reykyavik to the meet up location (about 2.5 hour drive) and it was well worth it. The weather on the glacier itself was perfect, hardly windy and SUNNY. It look a little bit to get the trek started with donning the safety equipment, but once we got going, wit was amazing. Edgar and Natalia were amazing hosts- very patient with some of our less attentive compatriots but also very informative. And a pleasure to be around and talk with. I just hope they'll adopt a QR code / venmo for digital payments (still, it's obviously wholly, my fault I did not prepare cash for tips!). Best of luck to you Edgar and Natalia, I hope to see you again next year, maybe in the spring or fall!

Excellent Guide and beautiful experience
We were lucky enough to be led by Erin who was very helpful and friendly. She made sure everyone was having a good time and was safe throughout the experience. We thought it was a great time but you should be aware that there is a lengthy walk to get to the glacier and then back to the tour bus so roughly half of your time or maybe more is not actually spent on the glacier. There was an area closer to the glacier that some groups parked at but it appeared our bus was too large to park there so we had to do a much longer walk. The equipment provided was great and instructions on how to use it were clear. Would recommend.
