Would do it again in a...

Would do it again in a heartbeat. We went went in January, it was a bit cold for my Arizona blood. It rained on our way out and not an enclosed boat. Knowing now what that would be like I would be more prepared for rain and cold. Not bad weather, just bad preparations. Rain stopped before we arrived and water was excellent and so were the Manta Rays.

Great experience!!!

I was kind of nervous at the beginning because of the thought of snorkeling in the ocean in the dark of night. But my hubby and I snorkeled earlier that day to kind of prep us. That helped me to become more confident with my buoyancy coz I'm not really a swimmer. So I went into the water with fewer nerves. And it was great! We saw multiple manta rays, and some even swam so close to us that one grazed my elbow. I was told that means good luck! The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. It was a very wonderful experience that my husband and I will remember for a long time. They don't have this on other Hawaiian islands, so just do this when you are in the Big Island. You won't regret it.

This show is family...

This show is family oriented and family focused. We genuinely appreciated the time and effort of every single person involved with the show beginning at the greeting to the demonstrations, serving and of course putting on an amazing show through dance. The drummers were a highlight for my family. We enjoyed every element. Such a great display of culture and heritage. We highly recommend!

Sean was remarkable! Wonderful knowledge, amazing at answering hard questions and a very funny and relaxed guy. Highly recommend. If management sees this, please give that man a raise or a bonus, we asked so many questions (some of them out there) and he had a great answer for all of them. He also told us how we can support the local communities with specific spots that had authentic Hawaii, rather than something mass produced from a Walmart or what-have-you. I am going to tell my friends and family to do this exact trip.

Once in a lifetime adventure

This was an incredible experience from start to finish. Spectacular sites, great snorkeling, and the crew (Jasmine, Macana, and Uncle L) made the trip all the more special in sharing local Hawaiian history throughout the tour. The captain even expertly navigated the boat to a nearby pod of dolphins which got close enough to touch the boat. A once in a lifetime experience I’d recommend to anyone visiting the island

Great service, great tour

We had a great tour with Ian as our guide. He was personable and included extra stories and info along the way. Sprinter van was clean and on time. This was the perfect way to tour Pearl Harbor without having to try to get a ticket on your own. I recommend the optional submarine tour that you can add on your own on upon entrance to Pearl Harbor.

I definitely recommend

I went with my wife and 10 yo son. To be honest, I thought I had booked a catamaran tour, which is what I did when I lived in Oahu 10 years ago, but this was not a catamaran. It was just as good, though (maybe even a little better, depending on your personal preferences). Unlike a catamaran, this boat was quite roomy and had shade. The crew managed a group of about thirty expertly, providing good direction throughout the tour. Emma, Bennie, and Elliott were young (to me), but it was evident they were very skilled and knew what they were doing. We saw a lot of turtles, schools of reef fish, and Bennie even swam down and found an octopus to show the kids. Top notch service. I would highly recommend. Also, very easy to find in the harbor right next to Hilton Hawaiian Village. Alex was the skipper, and he’s done a great job organizing and staffing this tour.

Exceptional tour

Plan for a full day! Our driver was knowledgeable about the area and kept us entertained the entire ride. He was very prompt and was exactly where he said he would be when he said he would be there. Our pickup location had to change due to a water main break at the original location, but the company was very good about communicating that information in plenty of time for us to be there.

Great experience

It was a great experience. The crew was really helpful, and friendly. They were very professional and made sure everyone was safe. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, the crew did everything they could to make it a good experience. The only negative I could say is we didn’t see a single turtle and we were really excited about seeing turtles. I think the crew did the best they could to give us that experience, but the ocean and the turtles didn’t cooperate that day.

Don’t miss this Luau!

Attending this luau was one of the highlights of my trip to Maui! I got the premium seating, and it was absolutely worth it. Being right up front put me close to all the action. I loved being welcomed with a real orchid flower lei on arrival. It began with fun activities like Hawaiian tattoos, flower experiences, and an open bar, followed by a delicious family-style dinner before the show began. The setting was breathtaking, with the ocean as the backdrop, a gorgeous Hawaiian sunset, and a beautiful, sprawling tree that created such a magical atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the performers brought amazing energy throughout the entire show. Their talent, storytelling, music, and dancing made for an unforgettable experience. It was everything I had hoped for in a Hawaiian luau.

Amazing Captain and Crew

Captain Dawn and her crew were absolutely amazing! The boat ride was very calm along the coast of Na Pali. The snorkeling was ok, but it had always been that way no matter which company we went with. On the way back we got soaked! We were sitting in the front and Captain Dawn did warn us. Lots of laughter from all of us who decided to stay up front. The crew came by to ask if we needed anything all of the time during our journey. They would stop and chat with all of the passengers for several minutes at a time. Just an amazing group of people.
