Island tour

We drove around the entire island. Having a guide/driver meant we could look at scenery without having to worry about traffic. Rony was our guide and he was very informative about the history and culture of the island. I was worried that the time at each stop might not be enough but mostly, it was just right.

Great last minite addition.

I booked last minute when I realized Papeete was effectively closed on Sunday with nothing else to do. Breathtaking views of tropical valleys and waterfalls. The ride isn't nearly as bad as expected because we were encouraged to stand. So, we weren't seated where our backs had to absorb all the shocks. It may be a different story if poor weather kept the roof closed and we were forced to sit. In either case, make sure you are physically capable of standing and balancing for hours, or can take the rough ride on your seat. I have a bruise from when I was not holding the bars as diligently as I should have and slipped into them. These are not criticisms. The tour and guides are excellent. I just hope people know what to expect.

Pleasant, Tranquil, Delicious!

As advertised. Theo greeted us and directed down the dock which was an easy walk from the cruise pier. We then met Diane who instructed us to remove our shoes before boarding. She served us local fruits and fruited water. We set out on time with a total of 12 passengers and 2 crew. Theo piloted us through the harbor where we saw a pod of dolphins. We then traveled about an hour down the coast to where the huge waves break, awesomeandmesmerizing. We turned back and found a lagoon for snorkeling and observed a variety of fish. Mostly small but colorful species were all around the small coral reef we stopped near. Then Diane brought out her homemade sweets, banana bread, cream puffs the likes of which I never had the pleasure of tasting prior. We learned Theo and Diane are pretty new to providing these excursions. They did a great job for newbies. May they have continued success because they provided us with a great afternoon, great company and great food. I highly recommend the Migaloo Experience.

My Dream Finally Came True – An Unforgettable Whale Experience!

I traveled all the way from South Korea to Tahiti with one dream: to see whales in their natural habitat. This was my fourth whale tour in Tahiti, and I finally had the incredible experience I had been hoping for. I struggled a lot with severe seasickness throughout the tour, but the moment I saw the whales, I knew it had all been worth it. Thanks to the wonderful crew, I was finally able to fulfill a dream that had brought me thousands of kilometers from home. Unfortunately, my action camera fogged up, so I couldn't capture the experience properly. However, the crew kindly shared their whale videos with me, which I truly appreciated. This experience will stay with me for the rest of my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my dream come true!

Great tour

Had a great time. Despite Misty weather and an occasional light rain during periods of the tour, the light rain jackets and helmets kept us comfortable… Marco, our guide, was very good, knowledgeable, and did a great job for making it really enjoyable… the stops we did were all great. Got to see some plantations with different fruit, the views were fantastic, and the places we stopped to grab a couple local snacks are great… Highly recommend.

History and botanical information

Very informative tour about Tahitian history, government, and flora. A lot of information in 4 and half hours. Also we got to try delicious homemade bread! Our guide Pauline (sorry might misspell the name) was very knowledgeable and nice. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Great Tour in Tahiti

What a delightful 5 hour tour that was informative, beautiful and ended with a sunset at the black sand beach. Our guide moved at the pace of the group and seemed very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Tahiti. I booked this tour on my final day in Tahiti ahead of a late night flight and it was the perfect end to a spectacular vacation.

Best day of my life. ...

BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. We have gone on multiple excursions before in all different countries. Nothing will ever compare to this! We saw dolphins, sharks, turtles, rays, coral gardens and tropical fish. The crew were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond. Always there to help, amazing cooking… and even a bit of singing with the ukulele. They called us family and we most definitely felt like family. Such a special place and they made sure we would remember that forever.

Swimming with the whales

Unreal experience swimming with the whales, highly recommend if you get the chance! We got to swim with 3 whales for an hour or so that were pretty close to us. Our captain Nicola and guide Henua were awesome. Very mindful of respecting the whales space while making sure we had a great experience. They had a little floatation ring to help anyone who isn’t a super strong swimmer or was getting tired while swimming. Got us a taxi on the way back that way we didn’t have to ride back on the boat in the wind or rain which was much appreciated! Will definitely never forget this experience :)

Tahitian boat day

Entertaining, educational, fun, and refreshing! This was such an immersive experience. The boat was beautiful and well kept, our guide (Nolte) was funny and serious about sharing Tahitian traditions. Nolte told us about the mountains/names/meanings and more! We shopped for coconuts while driving out to our swim/snorkel with the rays and black tip sharks. Nolte talked of his family and grandmother learning from them. We stopped for a Tahitian lunch on an island and the food was made by our guides (we were 3 boats). The food was delicious! We were entertained learning how to hull and open a coconut, how a hat can be made with palm leaves, 20 ways to wear a sarong and more! We then went to another lagoon to snorkel before heading back to the dock. Amazing day!!

Fabulous tour of Moorea

Fabulous local tour . Beautiful sites, and exceptional guide. Difficult driving and guide was careful and conscientious . He never rushed us and gave us lots of information . Saw Belvedere Lookout, Magic Mountain. A local stop to taste fruit and jams, a pineapple farm, blue eyed eels, and last but not least a tasting at a distillery. Very generous with the samples! Cost was very reasonable for. 4 hour tour.

Fantastic Sea Scooter Experience with Nico!

Sea Scooter Snorkeling with Nico was fantastic! It was my first time trying a sea scooter, and I was surprised by how easy and fun it was to use. Nico gave us very clear instructions, and we felt comfortable from the start. We had an amazing time exploring the water. Nico also took photos and videos throughout the experience, which were available for an additional fee and made the experience even more memorable. Definitely a fun and unique activity to try in Moorea!
