Our trip to the Pyramids...

Our trip to the Pyramids of Giza was fantastic. Our guide Menna was wonderful - very knowledgeable, patient and kind. She didn’t rush our visit at all and let us explore what we wanted. The whole trip was very well organised from start to finish. Menna sent us a message the day before the trip to confirm plans and again in the morning to let us know she was on the way to collect us. She answered all of our questions and took the time to explain everything we wanted to know. We went to a very nice restaurant in Giza for lunch, with a wonderful view of the pyramids. The food was delicious! The driver was also excellent. We would give 10 stars if we could. Fantastic!

A Fabulous Experience at Giza!!!

Literally the best tour I’ve ever been on, and it’s all because of our guide. First, we were picked up at the front door of our hotel, right on time. A large water was given to each of us and then we were off in a nice air conditioned car. Once we got to our first stop, the Pyramids and the Sphinx, our guide started giving us some history right away on everything and answered any questions we had. From there, and til the end of the day, he was always asking us right at the best moments if we wanted him to take pictures along with making some fun suggestions here and there. He took us to all the best photo spots too to beat the crowds. Then, we wanted to add on a camel ride, so he knew exactly who to take us to for an incredible experience. After that, as another add on, he offered to take us to some places for souvenirs. We needed a few more gifts, so we accepted the offer. The places are more high end that he took us, but if you’re coming all this way, you’d rather have the real stuff. We did end up crossing some items off our list, so it was worth it. After that, we had lunch, that was ready within minutes of arriving to the restaurant, so good timing there. Last stop was the Grand Museum, where we quickly got through and inside. We were kind of tired by now, so we asked for the highlights tour, but we could have stayed for hours had we wanted to and our guide would have gladly stayed with us. The whole time he made sure to give us history and insights on everything we saw. Then the trip ended right back at the front door of our hotel as planned. What made the trip most enjoyable was that as we were traveling with two small children, our guide kept them at any point where he thought it would be better for my wife and I to go off and see things ourselves without us even asking. My son made a new best friend that day! We will always remember this trip and if you do this tour, you have to ask for Hossam. He’s the absolute best!

Great tour

The tour is truly amazing! My guide was Saso and she was absolutely great in guiding me through the Giza plateu and then the GEM. I had an amazing time and would highly reccommend it to anyone. Pick up and drop off were spot on thanks to the driver Peter. Car was comfortable with A/C.

Look no further!!

What an amazing day. We had a once in a life time experience with the most lovely team of people. Everything was so smooth and well organised, from the transport, camels, ATVs, shopping and staff that took care of us on the dinner cruise and made sure we had all we need. The ATV guide, Sammy must be a photographer because he got some really impressive photos of us with the pyramids. Incredible! Everyone was so welcoming. But the star of the show was Habeba our tour guide for the day & taught us so much about the history of pyramids. She was so friendly, easy to get along with, extremely knowledgeable, caring & funny!! She spoke very good English and was very clear to understand. We felt so safe and looked after from start to finish. She lead us in the right direction and she was very genuine and gave us lots of tips to get the best experience & quality shopping. We feel like we hit the Jackpot with Habeba! We have done lots of guided tours all over Europe and Egypt and this was by far the best guide we’ve ever had! Best Guide in Giza: Amal’s Expertise Made This Tour

We booked the Half Day Tour of the Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx with a private guide for our family of two adults and one child, and it was one of the highlights of our Cairo stop. Our guide Amal was outstanding. She has an incredible depth of knowledge about the history of the pyramids, the Sphinx, and the surrounding necropolis, and she paced the tour well so we stayed engaged the whole time. Both Amal and our driver were remarkably patient with us, especially when we needed extra time and attention for our child.. The package included car transport, entry fees, and a camel ride, which made the morning seamless. We started early at 8:30 AM, which turned out to be a great call since it meant cooler temperatures and smaller crowds around the pyramids before the site got busy later in the day. What stood out most was how personal the experience felt. If you’re visiting Giza and want a knowledgeable, unhurried, and well-organized private tour, I highly recommend this experience, and Amal in particular.

GEM - Grand Egyptian Museum a place to remember.

Basem our guide was great. He was informative and delightful to speak to and listen to. The driver was super amazing and the car was spacious and well airconditioned! The museum is so big that I recommend booking a 2 day tour to be able to see it all. Do ask for Basem because you won't regret it.... he made us feel like we where in the past.

This is a MUST do

I can't even describe what a wonderful experience today was. I have dreamed of seeing the pyramids my entire life (48 years now). You need to book this with a guide, it made the day magical. Esaam was incredible. Exploring the sites with an actual Egyptologist was amazing. His insight was so enlightening. I will be back to Egypt and I will be doing more tours with him.

I travelled to Egypt this May and spent nearly ten days exploring the country. As it was my first time visiting, I booked several tours through the Viator website to make the most of my experience. Out of all the trips, the three-day Siwa tour was by far the highlight of my journey. I am extremely pleased that I chose Luxury Tours Egypt for this experience—they truly exceeded my expectations. A special mention goes to my guide, Amr, who was absolutely outstanding. He was the best guide I had throughout my time in Egypt—patient, kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. His knowledge, professionalism, and friendly attitude made the trip not only smooth but also very enjoyable and memorable. Siwa itself is a hidden gem, and this tour allowed me to experience its beauty, culture, and peaceful atmosphere in a very comfortable and well-organised way. I would highly recommend this tour and Luxury Tours Egypt to anyone visiting Egypt, especially if you are looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. My flight from London to Cairo was delayed by three hours. Although I had already informed Amr before takeoff about the delay, I did not expect it to be so long, and he ended up waiting at the airport for quite some time—I felt very sorry about that. During the trip to Siwa, he was always thoughtful and considerate, making sure everything was arranged in the best way possible, including comfortable accommodation. When it came to meals, as I wasn’t very used to the local food, he made a great effort to provide a variety of options each day to suit my preferences and ensure I was satisfied.

Long Live the Reign of King Mina!!

Our 4-day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor was absolutely unforgettable and one of the highlights of our Egypt trip. The ship was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the views along the Nile were breathtaking every single day. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the deck while sailing between ancient temples felt magical. What truly made this experience exceptional was our guide, King Mina. He was beyond amazing — knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and incredibly passionate about Egypt’s history. Every temple and historical site came alive through his storytelling. He answered every question with patience and made the entire journey both educational and fun. His organization and care for the group made everything smooth and stress-free from start to finish. The excursions to Abu Simbel, Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and all the temples were perfectly arranged, and the hot air balloon experience was unforgettable. The staff onboard were also wonderful, always welcoming us with smiles and excellent service. If anyone is considering a Nile cruise in Egypt, I highly recommend this experience — and if you can, ask for King Mina as your guide. He truly made the trip special and memorable. 10/10 experience that we will never forget!

Excellent Small Group Tour

Amazing! Our local guides in Cairo and on the Nile Cruise were excellent. Both locations worked hard to accommodate one of the travelers who needed wheelchair assistance. Everything was included which makes the trip seem more expensive to begin with but when calculated out , a serious time and cost savings. The Sheraton Cairo was great. The Nile River boat was very good. And all transportation in AC vans were excellent. More than enough water was provided every day. I would highly recommend this small group, and I mean our group of four friends, to everyone. The airport meet and greet was amazing and appreciated as our flight from Luxor to Cairo was delayed several hours and yet there was Ali waiting for us. All in all a great tour!

I highly recommend this tour to Saqqara, Memphis, and Dahshur. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Exploring the Step Pyramid, the Bent Pyramid, and the Red Pyramid gave us such a deep understanding of Egypt's history that you simply don't get by only visiting Giza. The organization was professional, and the pace was perfect. It was wonderful to see these ancient sites without the overwhelming crowds. If you want to see the "real" history of pyramid building with a reliable and knowledgeable team, this is the tour to book. Truly a highlight of our trip!
