⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hussam from GEM Explore Egypt tour company was an absolutely outstanding tour guide and made our day unforgettable. He took my sisters and me to Saqqara and Memphis, where we saw the incredible Step, Bent, and Red Pyramids, along with the Sphinx in Memphis. His knowledge was impressive—he explained everything in a way that was both informative and genuinely engaging—and his sense of humor kept us laughing the entire time. What really stood out was how much he cared about our experience. Hussam made sure we were comfortable, having fun, and getting the most out of every stop. He also took amazing photos of us, capturing moments we’ll truly treasure for a lifetime. We chose to visit these pyramids before seeing the Great Pyramid, and it was the perfect decision—far less crowded and much easier to explore, which made the experience even more special. He also brought us to a restaurant with beautiful views of the pyramids, and the lunch was delicious. Fantastic day trip to the museum

We had the most fantastic trip to the GEM with Abdo. He picked us up from our hotel with his driver- a lovely big, air conditioned van- he provided water and took us to the museum. Abdo was well spoken, incredibly knowledgeable, very interesting to listen to, and even had the interest of our three kids. The museum itself is an experience not to be missed, and if you are considering going, please please book a guide- there are so many things you would easily miss or not notice if you do not have a knowledgeable person with you. Thank you Abdo, 10/10 recommend!

We had a wonderful private full-day tour of Coptic and Islamic Cairo. Our guide, Farha, was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a simple and interesting way, which made the experience even more meaningful. She planned the day very well and took us to all the key sites without feeling rushed. We also visited Khan Al Khalili market and a place to get good quality papyrus, which we really appreciated. The driver was also very professional and made the journey comfortable throughout the day. Overall, it was a smooth, well-organised, and enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend this tour more highly !

Kyrllos Eskander was fantastic - he is highly knowledgeable in respect of the history of Ancient Egypt and the pyramids specifically. He gave us a detailed account of the history of the pyramids and Spinx, which was insightful and interesting. The tour made our day stress free - as opposed to other day trips in Egypt where we have travelled alone and found it difficult to navigate the Egyptian cultural practices, which being from London, we know little about.

Amazing Tour!

Amazing tour - Mahmoud made a really great experience out of this tour - he made it really fun and helped me learn a lot about the pyramids! The information he gave was very well rounded and in a perfect format to digest as a holiday tour. But he could also answer many quite detailed and maybe more untypical questions of mine - He has a lot of in-debt knowledge. However: Most of all the experience was real fun and a damn cool vibe! (Side note - In retrospect I spent a little too much money in the perfume shop at the end. It's not at all a rip-off, the products are of an excellent and really exceptional quality - but maybe worth taking care ;)) Thank you so much man and sorry for my review being so late XD I'll hit you up again, next time I come to Egypt :)

Great trip, Booked just the driver, received good information from driver went to saqqara had plenty of time to see the step pyramid and Serapeum tombs, followed by dashsur to see and go inside the red pyramid and the bent pyramid, finished off with a trip to Memphis my driver Yasser Salah was great, emo tours highly recommend for a trustworthy easy day. 😎

We had a fantastic day with Fady and we went for the pyramids, Sphinx and also inside the great pyramid. Since we just skipped camel riding for personal reasons we decided to walk and had a really nice chance to get a even better feeling of the pyramids and the amount history in front of us. We were able to enjoy all the impressions We would do it all over again. We ended the tour with a nice lunch. Thank you for the great day!

An absolutely incredible tour, especially thanks to Mo. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, particularly if you’re lucky enough to have Mo as your guide. He is hands down one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had, especially in Egypt. Mo is professional, charismatic, incredibly knowledgeable, and always one step ahead, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. He truly made our day unforgettable and we honestly wished we could have had him for all of our tours in Egypt. We were beyond impressed. Mo is an absolute legend! The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. The van was spotless and comfortable with a very professional driver, and the food was delicious. Everything was perfectly organised, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the experience.

A Whale of a Time!

We are so glad for this tour with Emo Tours. We had a whale of a time amid awesome ancient seabeds and marine fossils, learning about the geological history of the sea-desert, and finding saltwater waterfalls and lakes amid endless sand dunes. The desert campsite and lunch was a brief yet pleasant experience of desert life, and a welcome respite from Cairo’s urban sprawl.
