Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and I loved the background info and she had pictures to help explain the history. I learned things I would have not known without taking the tour. I would highly recommend tours with Carpe Diem.

We booked a private tour with our family of 14. Sharon not only showed us the classic sights such as Piazza Nova, the Spanish Staird, the Trevi Fountain etc. but also shared lots of interesting insights with is. Great initial introduction in to the history of Rome and its characters and the amazing buildings and architecture. Our tour guide Tsion was very knowledgable and very passionate. Allow time to get to the meeting point as there are a few closed pavements at the moment.

Sharon was the most wonderful tour guide! She deftly moved us through the crowded streets of Rome (on Good Friday with a new pope), and showed us many of the important spots, as well as several "off the beaten path" locations that only a local would know. She also gave information about how to get tickets at the bigger sites, rattling times off from memory. We booked through Viator, who made it very easy. Thanks Sharon! :)

Booked this tour on the day. Saw the main sights in the “new” Rome on a Sunday morning starting at 10.am. It was a small group and our guide Domenica was friendly and informative. It was very busy everywhere! Would recommend booking the earliest/latest tours to avoid the crowds!

We waited for over an hour and a half and never saw anyone at the supposed meeting point. Multiple email correspondence with the provider never got us any closer to the group.

We loved this tour by Dan! He was so knowledgeable about Rome’s history (and Italy in general). A pleasure to listen to as he spoke with interest! We asked him tons of questions. Loved that this was a small group too (we had about 7 people in total). He recommended great things to do/see/and eat for the rest of our time in Rome. It was mostly easy to hear since we were a small group (occasionally a loud car or church bells would ring and he would pause until it passed).

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared all the history with us including adding fun stories into the guided walk. We visited most of the sites that we wanted to see. The pace was good and we had a very small group that made the tour even better.
