Seeing all the sites in less than 3 hours with a the professor! Lots of inside info tips. Zipping around in the golf cart is the only way to go.
Out guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and overall did a great job making the tour enjoyable. Plus, the gelato was great.
This is the only way to see and feel the city vibe. So much interesting information and Knowledge
All the highlights wrapped up in 2.5 hours AND gelato.
Our Guide Paulina was Amazing and so full of educational information
Her partner was an amazing driver and also extremely knowledgeable
Great way to see Rome. Enjoyed our small group. The guide was well spoken and knowledgeable. The gelato was wonderful and a great surprise near the end.
Well worth it. We drove all over Rome, stopped for photos, and had live commentary the whole time. Water, seat belts, and 2 scoops of Gelato included!
We enjoyed our experience. It gave us an opportunity to see the sights in Rome so we weren’t stressed about getting to everything.
Employeeswere very considerate and well organized. The free gelato at the end was a pleasant surprise.
We had the two rear facing seats, therefore, it was hard to see the actual building the guide was talking about at that precise time. Made it confusing to know which one was being talked about as you really couldn’t turn around with seat belts on. Plus our head sets were not very clear to be able to hear 100% of the comments. That being said, our guide was great and we did enjoy the tour.
It was very instructive. We learn a lot from the guide ( history teacher )
When you don’t have a lot of time it’s a good way to see and learn at the same time
We had a 10 person golf cart, with a driver/tour guide & 9 tourists.
Our guide was a very experienced travel agent who had also travelled extensively to more than 100 countries.
He also was a a Romaphile - he loves Rome & has lived there on & off for many years. His extensive breadth of knowledge of the local history & culture of Rome, from ancient to current times, was a big plus & made the tour for us.
It very much depends on your guide, the concept is great, driving through all the little streets in the buggy was fab but our guide was very boring and didn’t stop talking at all, everyone removed their ear piece as he was monotonous with historical fact after fact delivered in a very very dull way for a full 3 hours, solid, he also muttered and none of us could make out what he was saying most of the time. He was clearly knowledgeable and an enthusiast but not suited at all to the job of guide. The comp ice cream was delish. I’m sure there are great guides working for this company but sadly ours was not one of them.
Amber is great. If walking to meeting point give yourself extra time. Streets are busy. Great event for first night in Rome to stay awake if you do a red eye.
Absolutely quality tour.. everything was first class. . Tom was our guide . He was a wealth of information highlighting art history. We were thrilled with the tour . The audio was outstanding.. Riding in a golf cart was a great way to navigate the roads .
This team is truly the best! Very engaging in the descriptions offered as you travel around many of the historical sights.
The guides made sure we saw everything planned, including our gelato stop!!
Jason was our guide and was so enjoyable, and Micki was the best driver!
Amber was a great tour guide....very knowledgeable ans a lot of fun. Boy, you couldn't ask her a question thar she didn't know the answer to...and she gave us the recommendations for the best places ro ger great photos
This is a great way to see Rome. We saw so many wonderful sites, and we were able to get out of the golf cart and get close-up.
The golf cart takes you to all of the highlights of Rome , Jason was our guide and he made sure we saw everything we needed to see! He even had one of his drivers take us closer ti our hotel and the driver dropped us off at a quaint restaurant for dinner since we asked where to go ! I will try the night tour next time! Highly recommend this tour if you want a nice overview of the city
Book with this tour company the best
Sam Was very knowledgable , he has a great sense of humour. He should get a payrise.
Really enjoyed the tour.
Owner very passionate about Rome
Really deserve to well
I’ve lived in Italy and travelled back frequently and wanted an easier way for my whole family to get in a bunch of sites. It was the right move!! Sam was awesome. Everyone on the tour learned new things. The golf carts were super cool. And there’s gelato included?! Definitely recommend, even for someone who has been to Rome many times. A new way to see the city.
It is an excellent orientation tour of must see sights in Rome
A short period of time is allocated to view the sights.
Our guide; Samuel who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable gave an introductory presentation at each of the sights visited.
He also pointed out places of interest as we travelled through the streets.
I felt exceptionally safe in the Golf Cart.
While we had an very engaging and knowledgeable tour guide, we were somewhat disappointed in the experience, as a whole. It was somewhat disorganized from the time we arrived 20+ min prior to our scheduled departure of 1:45pm. There were alot of people waiting for both 1:45 & 2:00 tours and we ended up being assigned to the later group, so didn’t leave on the tour until about 2:10. The group was split between 2 golf carts and the guide started off in the cart that we were not in. Unfortunately, we missed the majority of his “on-the-go” narrative because the 2 carts didn’t stay close enough together in traffic, so the radio transmission dropped for those of us in the 2nd cart. Fortunately, he switched carts about halfway through the tour, so we were able to hear for the 2nd part. The tour also ran longer than expected (partly due to the late start), so some people who had scheduled things afterward were stressed about running late.
This is a great way to get a quick overview of the sights to see in Rome without having to walk your feet off. The guide was knowledgeable and easy to understand, stopped at a number of spots for photo ops and kept things going smoothly
This tour was a good way to explore the city and to get our bearings. Our two tour guides were great drivers in a chaotic road system; we would never drive in Roma! We learned enough at each stop to give us the confidence to explore more.
Great quick way to see Rome. A stop at all the highlights. Guides were knowledgeable. Spoke clearly and you were able to understand what they were saying.
The guides did a fantastic job! The tour was very educational and fun. It never got boring. We debarked the golf carts numerous times for closer look and photo opportunity. Thank you from your Virginia riders!
NOT TO BE MISSED! This was truly the best experience we had touring Rome in September. The guides - 2 cousins - were fantastic. They shared plenty of historical facts along with some comedic storytelling. The gelato stop was the 'icing on the cake'. I definitely would recommend this particular tour and vendor to anyone. We got so see so much whizzing down tiny allies, bypassing the main traffic (clogged) arteries. The guides took excellent care of our friend who was navigating the cobblestones with a cane. Can't say enough good things about this stellar experience!
This was an excellent activity with superb service and information provided throughout the tour . I would highly recommend this tour
Probably an excellent tour, but unfortunately it was pouring rain during our tour and we couldn't get out or really see much. Just got wet.
To the tour operator's credit, the next day they offered to make things right by retaking the tour, or signing up for other tours offered free. However our time didn't permit us to follow up, but cudos to the operator for trying
This was a great tour and a good overview of Rome. It beats walking in the heat. The staff are True super friendly, super knowledgeable and on time. The golf cart tour is the way to go. There’s a lot of walking in Rome and this gets you to all the highlights so you can see it step off and take a picture and head onto the next place. Once you get oriented, you can go back to the places where you want to have more time and get more detail. This was a very comprehensive tour. Perfect for those with mobility issues.
It is billed as a small group and my expectation was that we’d have a total of 6-8 on a golf cart with a tour guide. For this experience there were 4 golf carts of 6 people each with 1 guide for the whole group. He was incredibly informative, knowledgeable and passionate about the city and its history but there was not a connected discussion during the tour. Most tours I’ve been on the guide had a microphone that connected to the guests through radio earphones but not on this one. There was no discussion in between stops about what we were seeing -only at the stops themselves. One exception was one leg of the trip where the main guide was in our cart. Some of the stops themselves involved a bit of walking which was fine but more than I expected.
Overall good experience, I was just expecting more from a small group.
