Booking a tour lets you avoid the long lines to get into the Pantheon. Having a knowledgeble tour guide helps bring the history of the Pantheon to life. Our guide was Donatella. She had deep knowledge of the Pantheon's history and was very engaging. I highly recommend this tour!

Elana was an excelent guide, very knowledgeable! We were very glad we did the tour as the ticket line was so much longer. We also enjoyed a late lunch at a little resturant nearby.

Paid for the tour with a guide and it didn’t leave on time due to other patrons being late. If we’d left when scheduled we would have gained access to the pantheon, but it closed for a mass that the company claimed it didn’t know about. Then they made us wait for the company owner to arrive on site to request a refund and he was very poorly organized having to even borrow paper and a pen to write down our names for refunds. In total wasted nearly three hours of our time and with only two days in the city. Have been waiting to bring my son to Rome since his graduation during the pandemic in the 2020. It was one of only two things on his must see list. We should have left on time instead of waiting over 30 minutes for late comers. Thought by paying the higher price, we’d get better service and a better tour. Ruined the day. DON’T book this tour.

Dear Karen, I am truly sorry that your experience did not meet expectations, especially given how meaningful this visit to Rome was for you and your son.
I would like to clarify that the guide left precisely at 15,30 and when the Pantheon unexpectedly closed access the group was in line before the entrance. The Pantheon closed due to an unexpected religious event, despite the pre-booked tickets clearly indicating entrance between 15:30 and 15:50. We were there alongside several other astonished agencies and guests, as this situation was completely unexpected and has never happened to us before despite operating tours there almost every day.
While the guide did attempt to accommodate a late-arriving family, this did not affect the entrance timing, as they joined the group directly in front of the Pantheon and not at the original meeting point. So, your remark about this issue is untrue and unfair.
As soon as we realised the situation, I personally came to the site to assist guests directly and ensure that full refunds were processed immediately. Confirmation emails and messages were also sent at the time. I apologise if my handling of the situation appeared disorganised, but the reality is that we ourselves were caught completely off guard by an unprecedented closure. For this reason, we immediately refunded all the clients.
We are now taking the matter further with the Pantheon administration and the Ministry of Culture, as this is not an acceptable situation for visitors or tour operators alike.
We genuinely care about the experience of our guests, and I am deeply sorry that this important moment during your trip to Rome ended in disappointment.

Francesca, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly/welcoming. I felt like we received much more information and history than if we had simply listened to the free audio. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because Francesca waited approx 15 minutes for a couple who was late and repeated what she had already told us and consequently we had to leave before she finished the tour in order to get to another tour.

Silvia was an amazing guide! She was interesting, friendly, and kept our group moving. She shared a the history of Italy and how it ties to the Pantheon. This was a really great experience. We wouldn’t have learned as much if we booked elsewhere

The guide had a lot of trouble with the hearing devices - not her fault - but blame the company for not having everything prepped and tested. Delayed the tour by at least 30 minutes.
The audio devices once they were working were of very poor quality and we couldnt make out much of the tour - but after a 30 min delay of trying different options everyone in the group just gave up and went with what was available.
The guide herself seemed confused about details about the pantheon (measurements, etc) and her english was not good enough to conduct a tour I would say.
Overall this was not good value although skipping the line was a bonus!

Unfortunately, on that day, an issue with the audio devices caused an unacceptable delay at the start of the tour, and we completely understand how frustrating this must have been. While our guide did her best to resolve the technical problems on site, the headset system used that day was not our usual equipment and has since been replaced with our updated sets.
We are pleased that the skip-the-line access (which is effectively a pre-booked time slot with individual named tickets) was a positive aspect of the visit, although we understand this alone did not compensate for the disappointment you experienced.

The meeting place was easy to find our guide. She was very knowledgeable about the pantheon and ancient Roman history. Having a guide is important when the pantheon is crowded with people.

The pantheon is a must see. We went at a busy time of year so a guide I felt was necessary to make sure we had tickets. Our guide was too focused on people bumping in to her or walking in front of her in line. This made it a bit distracting for us but our kids didn’t seem to mind.

There were tons of people milling about, so look for the signs as posted in the instructions. If you are at all interested in religious studies or architecture, then this tour is for you. It was fascinating.

This was one of my favorite tours on my trip to Rome. It was amazing to have a personal guide to show us one of the primary ancient buildings left in tact from antiquity. Our guide, Elena, was fantastic. She was very kind and knowledgeable, taking great care to give us a wide spectrum of history related to the Pantheon. Absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to do the Pantheon the most justice.

Vivi was fantastic! We had a small group, only 4 people and she went over everything this tour had to offer. The told us stories and the history behind every little piece in the pantheon. She even went over the stories of the people buried in the pantheon. I really enjoyed my tour with her and would highly recommend her to the l anyone coming to see Rome. Best tour ever!
