Great educational tour with a great tour guide

Such a great educational tour filled with a variety of activities. Our tour guide was Jiwon and he was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the history of N./S. Korea and was not only able to answer all of our questions, he was able to provide a personal account of being a Soldier of S. Korea stationed at the DMZ. During this tour we went to the observatory and were able to use binoculars to see buildings and people in N. Korea. We walked through the 3rd infiltration tunnel. We stopped to eat tasty Korean buffet food. We got to do a Q&A with a N. Korean defector. And finally, we got to walk across a suspension bridge with a beautiful view. Be prepared to walk a lot! Personally I found it nice to walk around a lot, but I can see it maybe being difficult for some.

Highly Recommended! We did the Busan Top Coastal Highlights with Gamcheon Village & Sky Capsule tour on June 26 with our group of 8 adults. Everything went smoothly! Our friendly TOURSTORY guide met us right at Haeundae Station Exit 5 and took great care of the group. The air-conditioned van was comfortable, and the itinerary was perfect. The Sky Capsule ride was the highlight — beautiful coastal views! Gamcheon Village was colorful and fun with excellent explanations from the guide. All admissions were included, no hidden costs, and the pacing was just right. Great way to see Busan’s coastal highlights without any stress. We were only in Busan for a couple of days. The city is so spread out that I figured the best way to see the city - without worrying about transportation, etc - was to be part of a tour, which I never usually do. This was my first time booking a tour, and booking a tour with Viator. I was grateful to be in a small group tour after I passed tour after tour of huge groups. We were able to experience a taste of Busan with an experienced and knowledgeable guide, Jade, who was friendly, informative and very kind. The whole process was painless and I very much appreciated the Viator options to cancel/change dates/reserve and pay later. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience if you are visiting Seoul

The DMZ tour exceeded our expectations. It was interesting to learn about the Korean War and a great experience to visit some of the relevant locations and meet with a North Korean defector. Highly recommended it. Judy was a great tour guide! Bring your passport! That might seem obvious but we didn’t see anything at all about it when making the booking nor on the booking confirmation.

I took the 18 June 5 pm tour with my mother and daughter. Kevin Lee was our guide. It was a fascinating and fantastic experience touring the market and learning about Korean food culture. Kevin was an engaging guide who made the entire experience enriching and fun. He would share his personal experiences and insights while making all of us comfortable during the tour. My mother and daughter enjoyed themselves tremendously. Tour was well-paced with sufficient access to restrooms. You get to sit down and rest at about two locations. Will join this tour again with the rest of the family in future.

I travel often and have taken tours all over the world, but I can honestly say that Jun provided one of the best tour experiences I have ever had. From the moment he picked us up, I knew this was going to be a special day. He didn’t feel like a tour guide—he felt like a cousin or old friend showing us around his home. As a solo traveler, that meant everything. Traveling alone can sometimes feel isolating, but Jun created such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that I never felt alone for a second. He brought our group together and made everyone feel like family. His knowledge of South Korea was incredible. Every location we visited came to life through his stories, history, and insights. He made every stop interesting, engaging, and meaningful. You could tell how passionate he is about what he does, and that passion elevated the entire experience. What truly sets Jun apart is how much he genuinely cares about his guests. He went above and beyond throughout the day, making sure everyone was comfortable, informed, and having a great time. The restaurant he recommended was also fantastic—delicious food and another example of how thoughtful and knowledgeable he is. Leo was awesome! So knowledgeable and a very good guide. Kept the whole trip interesting. He even took the time to answer all of our questions with detail. I would definitely choose this DMZ tour again over others. Day started with pick up in the city. The bus was modern and comfortable with leather seats. Took about an hour to get to the first stop which was basically for Leo to grab the tickets. There was bathroom and snacks available for purchase. Second stop was the lookout where you can see North Korea. Third stop was the tunnel which was fun to walk through. Next we stopped and talked to a defector from North Korea. This was very interesting. We heard their story and could also ask any questions. Last stop before heading back to the city was a buffet lunch that’s not included in the price of the ticket, but it’s optional if you want to eat or not. If you are not super hungry there is a 7 11 around the corner. After lunch it’s just over an hour to get back to the city. Over all highly I recommend this DMZ tour!! Thank you Leo and PLK.

Fantastic Driver!

Our driver Jecky was amazing! Even though our flight was significantly delayed, he waited for us. He located us outside of baggage claim and moved all our luggage. He loaded all the luggage for us into the van. He even spoke fluent English! He answered all our questions, brought up some things we hadn’t thought of, and was very informative.
