We ended up being the only 2 people on this tour, and our guide, Manas, picked us up on time in his car and drove us to the mountains. He was really friendly and easy going, and his English was very good. Once in the mountains we had as long as we wanted to walk with him through the area which was really stunning - we walked around 7 miles in all. We took some amazing photos and have some great memories of the day. We got back to the city (he dropped us at our hotel) by early afternoon. In all the length was just right and the price was very reasonable. Many thanks Manas - we had a lovely time.

I had an absolutely fantastic private hiking tour to Ala Archa National Park with Ventura Tours. Communication with the company was excellent from the beginning, and the pickup was perfectly on time. My guide, Baisal, was wonderful. During the drive, he shared many interesting stories about Kyrgyzstan, its culture and history. Having a separate driver and guide was a real advantage, as Baisal could focus entirely on the conversation and on making the experience enjoyable. The hike itself was incredible, with spectacular mountain views and beautiful scenery throughout. As it was a private tour, we could keep a comfortable pace without worrying about other people being faster or slower. We also enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch provided by the guide beside the waterfall—such a memorable setting! I especially appreciated that the team operated the tour on 31 August, a national holiday, and during the SCO summit, despite road closures and traffic restrictions. They handled everything professionally and still made sure I was safely dropped back at my hotel. A truly amazing day and one of the highlights of my time in Kyrgyzstan. I had a wonderful time on this tour. Communication with the company was excellent from the beginning, and our guide, Aqai, was friendly, attentive and created a lovely atmosphere throughout the trip. The itinerary was very well organised without ever feeling rushed. The scenery around Issyk-Kul was beautiful, and the activities—including horseback riding and the eagle show—were genuinely fun and memorable. The yurt stay was extremely comfortable. As a solo traveller, I particularly appreciated being given a private yurt rather than having to share with strangers. It made the experience feel even more relaxing and special. The food throughout the trip was also delicious and plentiful. This tour was one of the highlights of my time in Kyrgyzstan, and I would happily recommend both the experience and the agency—especially to other solo travellers.

It was an amazing trip and I enjoyed it a lot. Sleeping in a yurt is a never forgetting experience, the horse riding was also super nice. (It was my first time horse riding) Orozaly is a great guide who’s an amazing driver and very patient and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this trip to everybody who wants to visit Son-Kul.

Highlight was trek to the canyon via a deep gorge, with a few scrambles over rocks and boulders, aided by fixed ropes. About an hour to the picturesque canyon, especially in full sun, contrasting with green grasses, flowers and shrubs on the valley floor.

I would definitely recommend this trip to see the stunning mountain scenery. Our guide was Tolegan, he was friendly and knowledgeable and tailored the trip to our needs. Overall it is a fairly easy hike. There were good facilities in the national park and we stopped enroute at a supermarket for any drinks or snacks.

Azamat was a great host. He picked me up from hotel even though I didn’t specify it when I booked. He took us on a super hike in the mountains and, then, helped me change my money, recommended a good restaurant and fixed the zipper on my pack! Definitely a great tour to do.

We had a bit of a hiccup at the visa office and the driver was patient enough to wait for us. He was nice and very helpful. It was not at all difficult to locate him after the immigration. He is definitely an expert navigator. I highly recommend them!
