What an incredible tour! From the most delicious food at the hidden gem, to our amazing guide Bao and driver, Hai who navigated us safely through the bustling streets - the day was just superb. We learnt the most amazing facts about the Vietnamese culture and history of Hanoi and got to see the back streets and experience daily life. Luca was so lovely and the trip was amazing!! Definitely worth it; I will say they dont pick you up at your hotel anymore but that’s because of a new ordinance, and they take you and lowkey kinda lock you in a pearl jewelry store for 30 minutes? (Which every tour definitely goes through, too, so you should def do this one, but but be prepared lol). But genuinely SO worth it and incredibly lovely, so gorgeous, and the staff is amazing!!

Tom and Jerry were our driver and tour guide. We found both excellent. We travelled to Ninh Binh in a luxury van with a small group. The activities were well planned and flexible due to the heat and humidity. The 500 step climb up was hard but the view was worth it. The lunch was delicious with the opportunity to try some local dishes. The bike ride to the pagoda was easy and the favourite activity. The paddle boat ride on the river was pleasant and relaxing. Highly recommend Jerry and this tour. 10/10!

Just outstanding!!

What a fantastic day out! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The scenery was beautiful and so lovely to enjoy from different view points - the climb to the top of the stairs was exhausting, but so worth it; the bike ride so much fun and the boat ride the perfect way to end the day! Lunch was so delicious, some come with an empty tummy! Lastly, our guide T.A. was an absolute legend! Such a great sense of humour, so knowledgeable, brilliant English and just a lot of fun! Cannot recommend this trip enough. Definitely looking forward to our next adventure!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Mekong Delta Experience! We had an absolutely amazing day on our Mekong Delta tour booked through Viator! Everything was very well organized, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and enjoyable. The Mekong Delta was beautiful, especially the boat ride through the Coconut Village. We got to see how traditional coconut candy is made and, of course, I couldn’t resist trying the famous Vietnamese cobra wine—with a BIG cobra inside the jar! 🐍😂 Definitely not something you get to try every day! One of the highlights was the ride on the tiny traditional boat through the narrow waterways. There were two drivers with us and we were sitting right in the middle, making it feel like our own little VIP adventure. 🚣‍♂️😄 Combined with the Cu Chi Tunnels earlier in the day, it was a fantastic full-day adventure packed with interesting history, beautiful scenery, local culture, and plenty of laughs. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City and want to experience the Mekong Delta beyond the usual tourist sights. 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We took the private tour for 6 people.Minh was very informative about Vietnamese history. The politics he mentioned was from his perspective and I felt fair. He mentioned foreign U.S. investment was critical. Otherwise, the van was nice and comfortable. We stopped at a place for a bathroom break and to buy some handmade Vietnamese souvenirs. They were beautiful and the workers were very nice. We had lunch at this beautiful restaurant. The Cu Chi tunnel tour was very interesting. It was not that crowded. The next stop was the Mekong Delta. The Sampan tour was the pinnacle experience of the trip. It was so beautiful and everyone in our group were smiling. Afterwards, we had snacks at a restaurant where there was some singing. The ladies were very nice and took pictures with our group. I highly recommend this tour.

Cat Ba Ventures is a fantastic local tour operator. Going with them was a great choice, not only does it support local business, but their local expertise means they know exactly where to go and when. The tour was seamlessly organized, the rooms were clean, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. Our guide, Hoa, whizzed us around different spots in the city for a full 4 hours. He shared funny anecdotes and also harrowing details about the Vietnam war. This trip was a great introduction to the city for our first visit. I would highly recommend it. Oh, and the beer was a bonus too.

Hien was very knowledgeable and patient with us and really gave us a good insight of Hanoi and the Hanlong bay, The boat ride itself was calm as was the sampan ride we opted for in lieu of kayaking and well worth it as we saw the inside of lovely caves and explored the limestone shapes. Amazing!

Wonderful experience

This was a wonderful experience! The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcome upon boarding and everything was clearly laid out for us. All the meals were delicious as was the optional activities. We made a few friends on the ship and participated in some of the traditional dancing. The rooms are quite large for being on a boat and we really enjoyed the view of the water from our balcony.

Excellent All Round Experience

We had an amazing 2D1N overnight experience with La Casta Cruise in Lan Ha Bay, and it was one of the absolute highlights of our Vietnam trip. If you’re looking for a luxury overnight cruise in Lan Ha Bay (quieter alternative to Halong Bay), La Casta is an excellent choice. The cabin was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with a private balcony overlooking the limestone karsts. Waking up to the calm waters of Lan Ha Bay was unforgettable. The ship itself is modern, well-maintained, and feels premium without being overly flashy. The food was outstanding — fresh seafood, authentic Vietnamese dishes, and well-presented multi-course dinner. Breakfast and brunch were generous and delicious.
