An insight into Korea

Our DMZ tour with Joo-Ee was insightful, well-organised, and genuinely memorable. She was engaging and easy to hear due to the individual headsets. The only downside was the very early start, but it is a must as you stay ahead of most tour groups and won’t be disappointed. Be prepared for the steep entrance to the 3rd Tunnel and its low clearance —especially for those with some height. Overall, a rewarding experience with a fantastic host, would recommend!

Great Tour Covering Seoul Highlights

What a fun collection of stops on this tour. We hit lots of the Seoul highlights, with plenty of time at each one to enjoy and get lots of photos. Jung was wonderful and made the tour very special. Her enthusiasm made each piece of information interesting and fun. It was worth it to rent the hanbok at the Buddhist temple. It just made me appreciate the culture a little more. Plus, the pictures look great. And the tea ceremony, was in this wonderful little home, presented by a precious halmeoni. The ceremony and preparation of tea was fascinating because of all the precise steps.

Enjoyed the tour, hit the highlights of the DMZ. Felicity was very knowledgeable. Tuesday was a busy day because it’s closed Monday, so crowds at most stops, but we stayed more or less on track. We did have to share a bus with a different language group that “didn’t have enough people for the 30 person minimum for a DMZ tour.” Our bus driver was a really cute Korean man who would greet us every time we got on, even got a high five at the last stop!

We had an amazing time...

We had an amazing time here getting to learn more about the Korean War History. We had a wonderful time with Alex as our guide. He was very friendly and excitable about sharing more about not only the history of South Korea but about their culture and food. He answered any questions we had along with sharing lots of recommendations about places to try authentic Korean food and additional places we must see while we're visiting. As we went through our tour he took lots of pictures for us, so we didnt have to worry about one of us being left out of any photos. I definitely recommend this tour to learn more about Korean history along with getting Alex as a guide.

My partner and I enjoyed this tour very much. Our guide, Evan, was really personable, extremely knowledgeable and communicated well in English. There were 2 other couples on our tour and it was so much better than the big group tours because our guide really looked after our needs. The van we traveled in was modern and clean. We 100% recommend this tour. We took it on Day 2 of our trip to Seoul and it was perfect because Evan's explanations about the history and cultural aspects, helped us to understand other sites we went to on the following days.
