We have enjoyed our time with the package over 3 days. It has more than paid for itself -after one day. Two things need to be said. Go to Boston Commons Visitor Center and get a map for City Tours. We walked for awhile trying to find the hookup and start touring. Review your visits before hand and make reservations. (Harvard Tour, Rooftop Viewing,…) . It is good to use the City Trolley, the grey bus) for help getting to some of the outer perimeter activities and to sit for a moment. Plymouth is well worth the excursion. It is approximately 1 hour of drive time from Boston.The pass pays for all three activities. LaLa was an exceptional guide. Have fun! 🤩

Every thing we went to was not operating due to time of year. Even their trolly bus was not operating until April paid a lot of money for nothing

Couldn’t access tickets

I wasted a lot of time trying to access our tickets and we missed out on many stops because we ran out of time. I had to call customer service but by the time I found a number to call I’d wasted over an hour

No pass in Boston

That it was a horrible trip. We had went to places on the list that said we don’t take that pass such as the Boston tea party . There were hop on hop off busses that said they did not take the pass. We were exhausted from walking 10 miles around the city to be told they did not take that pass.

Check your ticket first thing each day

Had to notify Viator after my 5 day package expired after the first day. Had to reset package. Glad I checked on day 2 or I would have panicked after waiting in line at an attraction.

Great fun without having to drive ourselves

We had great experience on/off the bus. Drivers were very knowledgeable. We saw everything we wanted to in the 1 day we had off our cruise ship. I would highly recommend this tour.

Boston 2-Day Adventure

Go-City is a great way to move around the city and visit sites of interest. The Cityview Hop off/hop on trolley has knowledgeable and interesting drivers, who make the ride fun. The included sites are some of the most popular and allow you to go right in without hassle. It’s hard to use all 46 site passes in two days, but still worth the cost to plan as many as you can.

Horrible Customer Service Support

Can I give zero stars, I bought a two day CityPass for Boston from Viator and couldn’t use the second day. I have called customer service several times to no avail. When I tried to use the second day the pass was expired. I only used it one day. If they do not refund my one day that I could not use, this review will stay up.

Getting the pass.

The convenience of the pass was awesome! You didn’t have to wait in lines to get your tickets. However, there is a disconnect between Viator and Go City. Had to call Go City to get actual tickets. We got lucky and one of the Go City trolley tour workers knew how to get the tickets otherwise we would not have been able to use them. So be aware if your tickets from Viator won’t work with the tours that accept the pass call the company Go City.

I accidentally bought this pass thinking I could see more sights for Salem. It was actually mostly Boston. I used it for what I could see. Before using it....minutes after purchasing it, I called and asked for a refund since it wasn't good for me. They said no...not happy at all. Will never do this again

Several of the attractions, and even the shuttle service that I paid for, were not even available during our trip, even though they showed up on the list of things included in my pass.

Go City did not include the trolley ride.

I purchased the city pass to use the trolley. Started my tour at noon and was told that the city pass did not include the trolley and only included the city trolley that was not running this time of year. I purchased the trolley for $52. Used the city pass for only one attraction.

failed app and poor customer service.

Bought the three day citygo pass in Boston. First day worked great. Next two days it showed expired. Both days called and talked to representatives about problem. One representative told us to show receipt and they would let us in but the gate agent needed to scan a code to let us in. That didn't work. They sent new codes that did Not work and we were forced to pay at each event. After taking subways and walking there was not another option. It was absolutely ridiculous to be on the phone for 30+ minutes three seperate times. And told it was fixed. I requested a refund for just day 2 & 3 since it worked for day and we paid for it. They denied the request.

Worst experience ever

Every place I went, I had trouble using. For some, the QR code didn’t work; for others, it recognized only the child and not the adult. It also did not cover entrance to some establishments listed and some were closed. Huge waste of money and aggravation.

Wouldn’t use again

the hop on hop off city trolley included with this pass had a 40 minute waiting line and you can only start at the very beginning. You can’t do the whole tour and then go around again to the places where you want to start. Seats terribly uncomfortable with knees hitting the wood bench in front of you. Driver talked too much. Can’t hop on and off all day and that should be clearer. You have to be very organized to pre-order tickets to other venues. I think you’re better off using other hop on hop off‘s and deciding what places you want to visit.
