Not your typical adventure!
A very cool adventure! Matthew was an incredible and patient guide as we navigated a pretty windy evening and all different levels of kayakers. But we all managed to stay together as he walked us through some interesting education on the mangroves and local wildlife and safely got us to the beach to watch the sunset. Though the sunset was a bit hazy, we were lucky enough to row home under the biggest most golden full moon I've seen in a long time (we almost didn't even need our glow lights, though it did make the trip more fun!). Since we went at low tide, we didn't see too much marine life rowing out like manatees or dolphins, but it did make for some good shelling and easier maneuvering of the kayaks. Highly recommend!

A great kayak tour through the mangroves…
A kayak tour through the mangroves on Marco Island. Our tour guide, Chandler was great at explaining the history of the mangroves and pointing out wildlife. The tour was about 2 hours. Highly recommend this tour with family or friends, being out in nature is wonderful when on vacation.

A Peaceful Paddle
It was physically easy and comfortable even for this 78 year old woman but I did have my strong grandson in the back doing most of the padding! We didn’t see much wildlife but that depends on the particular day and conditions, not something one can control. The guide, Keoni, was wonderful, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. There is no shade so lots of sunscreen, hats and water is recommended, water provided by the guide.

Loved It!!!
Self guided tour was very easy to follow on the map they provide. Bonus they provide waterproof bags big enough for your belongings which was great! We saw a dolphin which was awesome. He literally swam around my son’s kayak and got great video. The beach was soooo cool to get out and look for seashells and hit the water. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely do it again!! Highly recommend.

Fun in the Rain
The kayak tour was fantastic and just what we needed for a cloudy, rainy day in Marco Island. Foot peddling the kayak thru the mangroves and see a group of swallow-tailed kit birds flying made for a truly enjoyable trip. Thanks so much to the entire team!

Incredible Mangrove Tour
This was a great experience. The online booking was easy to complete. The price was reasonable compared to others I found. Our tour guide Rammel was amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. He made everyone feel comfortable about the kayaks and ensured we knew proper safety measures. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Dolphins be splashin’
We had such a fantastic time on this paddleboard tour in Florida! It was our first time paddleboarding and it went really well—super beginner-friendly and a great experience overall.
The water was calm, which made it easy to enjoy the surroundings. While we didn’t see as many animals as we had hoped (no manatees, unfortunately), we did get to see dolphins up close, which was incredible. We also spotted some birds, fish, and even bats hanging out under the highway bridge—such a cool surprise!
Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and engaging. I’d definitely recommend bringing a water bottle, especially on a warm day.
Overall, a really enjoyable experience and something I’d absolutely do again. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend
Nick was our guide. He was amazing and very knowledgable about the area and wildlife. He added a lot of history and facts about what we’re seeing make it more then just a kayak.. It was an enjoyable 2 1/2 hours - not too strenuous with nice breaks and the ability to see the hidden gems of the mangrove.

Awesome adventure!
Chris was our guide. He was so knowledgeable about the plants, birds, alligators and fish. It was great to learn about the eco system we were kayaking through. He had great energy, eased any concerns we had and made the trip so great. His goal was to teach us how to love and appreciate the area like he does. He succeeded!!!

Great tour of a very unique place
This is a great tour. My 16 year old son and I did this tour on a cloudy day in early April. It was about 72 degrees. The meeting point was clear, the organization was well done and the guide was informative and clear. Our guide was Adam and he did a fantastic job. The thing I like about kayaking is that it is accessible to more people than hiking or biking but it gets you closer to nature than a tour on a larger boat. Plus the only way to really navigate the mangroves is via a small flat bottom boat like a kayak. Only thing to keep in mind: Depending on recent rains and depending on cloud cover, you may not be able to find or see manatees. However, we were happy with the alligators, bull sharks, heron and other animals we were able to observe in their habitat. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Kayaking the Mangroves
Great experience kayaking through the mangroves. Liked that it was a small group (12). Lead by two guides with degrees in related fields, very knowledgable. Stay close to the lead guide as it can sometimes be difficult to hear since her back is towards the group. Though we would stop to gather several times for information. Wind was against us returning and one guide towed a young girl who was struggling slightly, very helpful! Saw some birds, large horse conch, too early for manatees, no dolphins. Suggestions: bring a towel and change of clothes if you’re headed somewhere else after the tour. Public restroom available at the car park. It’s probably a good idea to have experience kayaking as you need to navigates some “close” tunnels.

Lance - great guide!
Lance was our guide. He remembered everyone's name throughout the morning. He was impressive, informative and safe. I felt like we were in very good hands. It was a perfect day and I was kayaking with my 13 y/o grandnephew who lives in Ohio and has only kayaked once. Lance made him feel very comfortable and in charge of our boat. We'll do this again next spring break! Thanks Lance!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Get up close to southwest Florida’s nature and wildlife, exploring hard-to-reach places by kayak. Naples kayaking tours let you paddle through the region’s famous mangrove tunnels, looking for creatures like manatees, alligators, and a variety of birds. Or, paddle across clear and calm waters at sunset in search of dolphins. Some tours offer Hobie kayaks that let you pedal with your feet instead of paddling (to give your arms a rest), while others have clear kayaks equipped with LED lights that let you see through to the water below.
