Delicious Old town Munich foodie tour.

WOW! This foodie walking tour did not disappoint! And it was accompanied by ongoing narrative from Tetiana, our excellent guide, about the food origins as well as local history of the sights we were passing. We had at least 10 tastings, at 5 sites, of savory and sweet and 2 beers and one wine (or non-alc alternative). One of the sites included a typical local meal of sausages, potato salad and spaetzl (noodles with cheese). Each of the sites had its own story, character and ambiance. Highly recommend this. We chose the 3 pm tour so that the tastings gave us the equivalent of our evening meal. It was a convivial group and no one left hungry least of all us.

Amazing Day with and Amazing Guide

Would highly recommend booking this tour. It was an amazing experience and got to see a lot of amazing sites. Both castles were stunning, but you get to see quite a bit more than just the castles. Our guide, Elizabeth was outstanding. She was super clear, provided a lot of great history, was your considerate and time care of everyone, to top it off she was super funny and kept things very entertaining/. She made the trip even better.

Excellent tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and interactive. So many relevant locations in Munich where Hitler came to power. It was an early morning tour and cold but the guide adjusted accordingly. I would have liked to also attend the Dachau tour the guide also conducts.

Top Notch- do it!

Aileen was an excellent guide ensuring the entire group was on the train, then the bus and with her the entire time. She was super knowledgable and highlighted the key points at the museum. There is sooo much there to read and see, it was nice to have Aileen summarize it for us . She also gave small bits of free time to explore but kept us on time.

As you might imagine, Dachau is an emotional experience. Our guide, Sam did a fantastic job of explaining the site with both facts and emotion. Sam gave people time to process the intensity of the area. His expertise and passion for this subject was very evident. He wants people to remember the Holocaust. Best way to learn about Munich fast! Naveen from City Unscripted is an A+!

This was a fabulous way to spend our first afternoon in Munich! Naveen, our tour guide, met us in our hotel lobby and escorted us via U-bahn to Marienplatz. (It was nice to have help navigating bus/subway tickets and directions since this was our first day in town.) Naveen was a wealth of information about the buildings, history, politics, culture and food in the area. We went into several of the churches around Marienplatz and he made sure we had the perfect spot to watch the Glockenspiel show on the tower of the New Town Hall. Naveen took lots of photos of me and my husband for us, which is nice when traveling as a couple. Since it was just the 2 of us on the tour, Naveen tailored the sights and discussion to what we were interested in. He even gave us tips for what to see on the other days of our vacation. He really does know and love Munich! We learned a LOT in a short time. I highly recommend this tour for anyone coming to Munich!

This is a very long day,...

This is a very long day, but well worth the trip. Rothenburg is a magical city, think Disney beautiful. I was a bit disappointed by the Romanic Road; along with the small villages that you see along the there is also light manufacturing and storage facilities. I would say it detracts from the "romantic". The Harburg castle is worth the stop as well. Our guide Patricia and driver Dragon were exceptional.
