Great experience with my teenager
My 16 yr old son and I are visiting from the U.S. and highly recommend. It took the stress out if getting to see and explore what we wanted all in one day. Annette was amazing and so was our driver. We would take this tour again and highly recommend to others.

Lucia was a great and knowledgeable guide who took us through the highlights of the history and architecture of the city, pointed out interesting things to check out, and then cut us loose for 3 hours to make it our own afternoon. It's a nice way to spend a day.

Our tour guide, Patricia,...
Our tour guide, Patricia, was excellent. We learned that all Dachau tour guides are trained by either a survivor or a liberator of the camp, and our tour guide's passion for the subject matter was very apparent. We would all highly recommend this tour to anyone in the area.

While the striking architecture looks like a medieval fortress, the history behind it is incredibly fascinating. It was built by King Ludwig II to bring his grand romantic ideals to life. Taking the guided indoor tour gives you an intimate glimpse into the king's vivid imagination. The lavish, opulent interiors are packed with stunning details, from magnificent wall murals to surprisingly advanced 19th-century technology like running warm water. Make sure you walk up to Marienbrücke (Mary’s Bridge). The sweeping panorama of the castle suspended over the gorge is unreal and makes for the perfect photo. It is incredibly popular, the best way to enjoy your day is to book your tickets online well in advance. Taking a structured group tour makes the entire schedule completely stress-free. Walking up the scenic 30-minute trail through the woods adds a wonderful touch of adventure to the morning. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, the horse-drawn carriages and shuttle buses offer a charming way to reach the top.
