A full private day on the South Coast with a northern lights hunt on the drive back to Reykjavik. Groups of 1-3 travel in a sedan, groups of up to 8 in a van, with your own local driver-guide and no one else on board. Your guide meets you at your Reykjavik accommodation or cruise terminal with a VAREN name tablet, and water is available on request. You walk behind Seljalandsfoss, stand at the foot of Skógafoss, walk to the edge of the Sólheimajökull glacier and see the basalt columns of Reynisfjara black sand beach before a stop in Vík. After dark your guide follows the forecast and stops where the sky is clearest to look for the aurora on the way back. The day lasts about 12 hours, and the order of stops may change with weather or road conditions. A sighting cannot be guaranteed and there is no retry or refund if the lights do not appear. Bonnie is the best!

I am a solo traveler and this was a great way to meet people and learn about the city! Bonnie did a great job educating us, feeding us and keeping the tour fun! I would highly recommend to anyone. Beautiful Full southern coast tour

It’s a very long day but you get to see so much! I feel like I thoroughly saw the south coast! I didn’t feel rushed on this tour at the sites but they nicely asked to be aware of the time due to having a fun filled packed day. We drove a lot, but got to see two glaciers, multiple lava fields and so many beautiful waterfalls! I would 100% do it again.

The best trip

The best trip of Iceland in my opinion. We explored the most stunning scenery with the best tour guide - Helgi. Helgi was very informative, helpful and kind. This trip was a whole day trip, from pick up and drop off was 12 hours but we experienced so much and tour guide was very accommodating so was no problem at all. We were lucky with the weather so managed to see beautiful rainbows above Gullfoss waterfall, and the highlight had to be the blue lagoon towards the end. Can’t thank you enough for such an amazing day in Iceland.

Special tour with great driver/guide!

This is a great way to see a lot of Iceland’s iconic scenery. We enjoyed our tour guide, Addi. He is a local that knew the history and didn’t waste a minute getting us from one great location to another. We ended up at the Blue Lagoon, which is a must do. It was a full day and a great day. Addi also recommended a local hot dog place, BBP, which was great. If we did this again, I’d want Addi to take us around.

Great package and way to experience Sky Lagoon!

I loved Sky Lagoon so much! My friend and I bought the Ser package and it was so worth it! The facilities were clean and I loved having a private changing facility! It was so relaxing spending time in the lagoon and the 7 step ritual was incredible! My friend and I missed our bus ride to Sky Lagoon unfortunately. We did not realize the actual bus was waiting for us at our pick up location. I do wish the instructions indicated the bus will say Pick Up and Drop Off on the back of the bus, as well as possibly indicate a bus number for reference. We ended up taking a taxi to the Lagoon and took the return bus home. Also, note this package does not include one free drink of choice from the bar; I got this mixed up with Blue Lagoon’s premium admission. Overall, I loved Sky Lagoon and can’t wait to go back!

Great Spa experience and exciting way to start our trip to Iceland

We arrived at sky Lagoon directly after landing at the airport on a redeye flight. We were tired but excited to experience the seven step rituals. We debated between blue lagoon and sky Lagoon and ended up picking sky Lagoon and are very happy with our choice. Our booking time for 9 AM. It wasn’t very crowded. The amenities were lovely and we had showers stalls that allowed for private showering before entering the lagoon. This was a worry as I had read unless you booked a private shower you would have to showered communally but this was not the case with our basic ticket. The Lagoon itself provided a welcome reset and allowed us to shower again before setting off to see Reykjavík for the day. I would highly recommend Sky lagoon.

This was SO much fun! Its...

This was SO much fun! Its a highlight of our trip our family keeps talking about! It meets in the parking lot near the waterfall. There are bathrooms there and a souvenir shop as well. The bus ride up was a bit bumpy, but it made it fun! They stop part of the way up to the glacier to gear up and have a bathroom stop. They provided all of the gear and it definitely keeper us warm and comfortable. They were great at instructing us on how to use the snowmobiles. We followed the guide around the glacier in a line with another guide at the end of the line. We were able to get off the snowmobiles before turning around and heading back to stretch our legs, walk around on the glacier, and take photos. It was such a great day would highly recommend!!
