Amazing cruise with the best crew

My family and I took this amazing cruise during our trip to beautiful Bergen last month. The meeting point was very well explained, and there was a clear sign on the pier, so the location is difficult to be missed- it's just past by the Fish market. There is a similar cruise, operated by a different company, but the starting time and location are different, so there is no confusion. We arrived early and had the chance to chat with a wonderful crew member, whose name I missed (sorry), she is from England and has been living in Bergen for a long time. We learned so much from her, and are very grateful for her time and friendliness. The boat is very big, with plenty of seating area inside and outside. We opted to sitting inside along the huge windows and to go outside for photos. Snacks and drinks are sold on board, and the crew is among the nicest we have encountered. There was also a live commentary on board with fun and useful information about the areas we were passing by. In certain areas the boat stopped and they opened the front deck for photos, which made for an incredible experience on the 3.5 hours journey. The weather was perfect- sunny and as warm as it can be in late April. The views along the way are stunning- lovely colorful homes, snow-capped mountains, blue water, blue skies- what else can you wish for? Do not miss to take photos of Bryggen (the harbour) on the way back: the colorful buildings, the boats in front and the water are a picture perfect!

This experience was beautiful - so wonderfully put together by Travel North. Incredibly beautiful sights and an awesome guide. We actually booked this for Saturday, but on our way to Flåm, the road closed due to weather so we were unable to complete the tour - Travel North rerouted us so that we were still able to see a few sights, and then rebooked us for the entire tour today (Sunday). Truly no notes, I highly recommend both this experience and this tour company. They took care of us and put on an amazing tour; thank you.

The whole trip was excellent. I can get quite travel sick but the coach was comfortable, well ventilated and the driver was amazing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the local area. The waterfall itself was stunning and we were given enough time to wander around and really experience it. Well worth the money.

Great tour, and accessible!

The first level indoors is fully accessible for someone who uses a wheelchair, and outdoor space is available for a wheelchair except upon docking. The crew provided additional ramps for access to and departure from the boat. Otherwise, this is a perfect 2+ hour tour of the beautiful Oslo harbor and fjord area. Indoor and outdoor seating on three levels, with an accommodating crew.

A lot of amazing sights packed into 1 Day

If you have a short time in Bergen and want to see a lot of spectacular sights in 1 trip then this for you! It’s a long day, and it’s down to you to buy your own lunch so I recommend either bringing something or if you’re happy with the options on offer on the cruise or at the Viking village which is later on in the day. Our guide and driver were excellent

Beautiful Excursion to a Beautiful Glacier!

This is a WONDERFUL excursion! They met us right at the cruise dock. The bus was very nice and Alex & Alex (Guide & Driver) were excellent! The views to and from the glacier were stunning. The views and walk to the glacier were even better! There are also free shuttles to take you most of the way to the lake at the base of the glacier from the parking area if you can't or don't want to walk there. It is about a 45 minute walk and is easy/moderate in intensity. This leaves you enough time to have a leisurely walk, time at the lake, leisurely walk back and time for shopping/eating at the shops. We stopped at a beautiful lake on the way back. I highly recommend this company and this tour!

Brilliant experience on the Fjord.

Arrived at the RIB Boat check in area and after the checking in formalities were given a full body suit to put on. These suits kept us very warm and dry once out on the Fjord. Our Captain was Graham and after giving us the safety briefing told us what to expect once out in the water but also he asked us what our expectations were so as to make sure everyone's experience met their expectations. Captain Graham was very knowledgeable about the Fjord and told us many stories which were very interesting. Captain Graham ensured we had a full experience and throughly enjoyed the speedy journey back. Would definitely recommend this activity and Captain Graham was an excellent guide. Loved every minute of this.

The best tour ever!!

This was such a fantastic tour! Anna and Michael were both incredible guide/driver. We got picked up an hour later due to the times of the sun setting as it’s the end of the season which was great as it gave us a higher chance of seeing the lights. We weren’t hoping to have the best light show due to the end of the season but we saw them so strong. We had a fantastic spot where we had a bonfire and ate soup. Anna and Michael actually moved our spot when a huge coach turned up so we would have a much better experience and not be disrupted which was so great of them. After we had seen the lights for a while we had some hot drinks and biscuits and then the lights came back out again. Anna explained the science behind the northern lights which was great to understand and it meant we knew why we were seeing certain colours. If anyone wants a northern lights tour you must book this one!! Thankyou Anna and Michael

While in Finland and...

While in Finland and Norway, we enjoyed many arctic activities, but this was our favorite. We’re animal lovers and appreciate a thrill, and this offered both. The people were so kind and educated us on how to do the activity properly but also on how they (and more importantly, the pups!) prepare for it. Although it’s not ideal for children, we brought our 7-year-old and they made it safe and fun for all of us. There are lots of husky opps in the north, but this one appears to be one truly caring for the dogs. The dogs seem happy and are so eager to go for a fun run through the beautiful mountain side. I have no interest in a sport that gratifies me but at the same of the health and happiness of an animal, and these guys seem to do such an amazing job that both humans and pups are healthy and happy to be there.
