What are people saying about Iceland

Five star experience!
Bear (nickname) was a fantastic tour guide and very friendly. He is from Iceland, has a degree in Geology and was very detailed in his descriptions about the sites we viewed -- which were many! Nice travel provided a comfortable van which made the trip enjoyable. It was a five star experience!

Amazing waterfalls and fabulous guide!
Firstly, Lasma our guide was amazing! So knowledgable and really took care of us the entire trip. The tour itself was a quick whistle stop tour of all the highlights so do expect to be kept to a tight timeline - however this is expected as you're going a long way and only have limited number of hours. Loved seeing all of the waterfalls along the way. Just to note, it wasn't described in the tour but you should expect to be picked up by a different bus than the one you will start the tour on (it transfers you at the bus terminal). If you choose this option you will likely be the last to board and not get a great seat FYI

This was a great way to...
This was a great way to see more of Iceland outside of the very touristy spots. Dooley was a great tour guide! He told lots of stories of his childhood growing up in Iceland. The countryside was beautiful. The weather was great but windy in early May.

We were a group of 3...
We were a group of 3 (sisters). The whole tour was perfectly timed. Pickup in the morning was prompt. We felt like there was plenty of time to see the determined sites. The tomato farm was a wonderful addition and the soup and bread were well worth the cost. Our driver was fun and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour.

An unmissable trip for visitors to Iceland
The trip is a full day driving and sightseeing experience. Our driver and guide, Ottar, was knowledgeable and friendly and plenty of time was allowed for exploring. The farm visit was good and an excellent lunch could be purchased for a supplementary price. The tour highlight for me was to see the geyser erupt,
thrusting hot water many feet into the air. And if you missed this photo/video opportunity the first time, not to mind. It happens every few minutes.

Great experience. Highly recommend
Lagoon experience was amazing.
Bius Tickets - we and the transport staff were however unclear where to get paper/device tickets transferred but bus staff and lagoon staff proved helpful. It was unclear what the correct bus company was, even with barcode in hand. Some improved instructions on the confirmation would be useful but regardless, of the hiccup, staff were lovely and very helpful, it was an amazing experience once we got there. It would have only been better if the bus operators weren’t confused by whose bus we should be on. The confirmation didn’t state the bus company and provide the correct references. Both bus drivers were very confused. Paperwork info needs broadening to include bus company details in case of issue. So please check with the operator before you leave and get written confirmation details . We wasted a good half an hour - 15 mins both ends, with people not knowing if we were there customers. This meant we kept getting moved from one bus to another by drivers. It was slightly embarrassing.

We had an amazing day on...
We had an amazing day on this trip, all of the places we visited were good, especially the Secret lagoon, the waterfall was brilliant. A big thank you to Tomek the bus driver who made it a very smooth ride and coped better with an icy car park better than anyone here would ever do. Our guide Gergo was very informative and fun, would love to return to Iceland and maybe do another trip with Bus Travel Iceland, very organised.

Eva made it even better!
Very lucky we had EVA as guide. She compensated, by far, the extremely adverse weather conditions we faced throughout the whole journey. Joyful, funny and energetic made us appreciate the scenery, history and traditions. Kept us informed about weather and actions to be taken to ensure our safety.

A wonderful way to explore the sites of the Golden Circle
We had a wonderful time on this tour thanks to our guide, Elisa. She was so knowledgeable about the area and the scientific facts about the landscape, but also had a wonderful sense of humor that made the day fun! She provided two extra stops that were not on the itinerary, and let us enjoy Icelandic music during the ride.
What is nice about this tour is that each stop is very different than the others. The national park was so beautiful and its history was so interesting! The geysers were fun to see, and the waterfall was stunning! The final stop, the creator, was also amazing. We were able to hike down to the bottom easily and really see how perfectly it was formed.
I know that there are other tours that do the Golden Circle with more stops/more time at the stops, but for us, this was perfect! Highly recommend!

Dynjandi Waterfall & Iceland Farm Visit Tour- A phenomenal experience with a phenomenal tour guide.
The Dynjandi Waterfall & Iceland Farm Visit Tour reflects the true beauty and magnificence of Iceland. The diverse landscape and colorful fauna is simply stunning. Seeing how the locals live was extremely insightful. Genuine and hard working people with heart warming family values. Tom, our driver and tour guide was one of the best we have ever had the pleasure in meeting. His knowledge of the country, geography and history of Iceland is unparalleled. Beyond being incredibly intellectual, his personality made the excursion so very special. We were disappointed that it ended after 4 hours of learning, seeing such beauty and being entertained by one of the best tour guides you will ever meet.

Great way to experience Heimey Island
I had some initial misgivings about the tour but it was fantastic. Ebbi, our guide, was incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and just fun. He was a great story teller and is passionate about his home. Late in season, we still saw plenty of puffins.

Amazing experience, one of my bucket list
Despite the weather was not the best, the experience itself left me wordless, we saw minke whale and humpback whales, the guide was very professional, explained a lot about them. She knew not only about whales but also how to handle people with a sea sick on the board.
