Absolutely flawless from beginning to end. Pick up from the hotel was on time and the driver came into the port and showed us how to get our boarding cards. Then we were met as soon as we exited the ship in Tallin and our tour guide was so friendly, interesting and knowledgeable. We didn't feel rushed at any stage. Pick up to return to Tallin port was again on time and we were met back in Helsinki and taken to our hotel. Our tour group was small (7 including ourselves) and we all got on really well. Ed our guide was brilliant. He took us to places we would not have even thought of including the Oodie library which was such an eye opener and what all libraries should be. A little difficult to find exactly where the pick up bus was parked. The communication was good though and turned out not to be a problem. The tour was wonderful. Both the enjoyment of the traditional Finland dishes and the moose viewing as well. We saw 5 moose and some were really close up. Everyone was pleasant and do recommend this tour.

Good day trip to see a beautiful old town!

The ferry is a very unique experience if you haven't been on a huge cruise liner before, but it gets boring after a while so bring something to keep you occupied for the entire duration (5h to and fro). Once we were in Tallinn, our guide Sergei was extremely knowledgeable, jovial and in general, made the 2 hour walking tour a very enjoyable and engaging experience. We had free time from 2:30 PM to 4:55 PM. If you are quick to have lunch and get some souvenirs, you will still have over an hour available which you will need to kill some way. Be prepared.

A Great Day Out in the Woods

This tour is a great way to see the Finnish forest on a day hike from Helsinki. The hike was of moderate difficulty and length, no big hills. It’s safe. The landscape is beautiful and Patricia’s love for it is infectious. I learned a lot of forest lore and we cut and split our own wood to make a fire. The food at lunch was authentically Finnish, and we drank from wooden kuksas. Yes, do keep the salt licorice as part of the dessert. I really had a good time and was very glad to have met Patricia. I think anyone who wants to learn more about Finland will enjoy this hike too.

Based on the weather forecast we knew our chances of seeing the Northern Lights were very poor. Arctic GM eas very open and honnest about the possibilities that evening. We drove three hours, deep into Sweden, to find clear skies. And guess what? We saw the beautiful aurora borealis! Totally worth the effort. What an incredible...

What an incredible experience we had with Snowride Lapland! Our guide Mario was exceptional. He was funny and relaxed while still being very professional. The snowmobiles were very good quality and even came with hand warmers for both driver and passenger. My wife was very nervous to drive but after great teaching from Mario she tried out driving and had a wonderful time. There are many options for snowmobiling in Rovaniemi and I can’t recommend this operator enough for their quality, professionalism, and overall experience!
