Hieu (aka Rocky) was our favorite tour guide we had in all of our time in Vietnam. He answered all our questions and took plenty of photos for us. Lunch was fantastic at Buncha and getting to try egg coffee didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a short tour that gives you some insight to Hanoi!

Nice airport experience
We heard stories about the long wait. Being a first time visitor in Vietnam we just wanted to be in and out of the airport fast so we can start our tours. It was an easy morning because there were bot too many lines and it was still early. But for us the service was very helpful.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Tour Guide – Sandy is Simply the Best!
Having traveled extensively and taken many guided tours around the world, I can honestly say that our experience with Sandy from Hanoi City Tours ranks at the very top. I give her five stars, but if I could rate her above all others, I certainly would. From the very beginning, Sandy exceeded our expectations. She met our group at our hotel in a spacious luxury limousine van with a professional driver, immediately setting the tone for a first-class experience. Her warm smile, friendly personality, and genuine interest in getting to know us made us feel welcome from the moment we met. She took the time to learn about our interests so she could tailor the tour to our preferences, which was greatly appreciated. Our four-hour Hanoi City Tour included visits to the magnificent Tran Quoc Pagoda, the historic Ba Dinh Square and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the thought-provoking Hoa Lo Prison, the bustling Dong Xuan Market, and the charming French Quarter. Along the way, we enjoyed photo opportunities at the beautiful Grand Opera House, explored St. Joseph’s Cathedral, and finished with lunch at the famous Hanoi Train Street, where we had a fantastic view of the train passing just feet away from us. Sandy was incredibly knowledgeable about every location we visited, but what truly made her stand out was her passion for sharing Vietnam’s history, culture, and traditions. At each stop, she brought the stories of Hanoi to life with fascinating details, historical insights, and personal perspectives that made everything much more meaningful. Many of these places were destinations I had only seen or heard about on television, and experiencing them in person with Sandy as our guide made the visit unforgettable. This has been, without question, one of the most informative, visually captivating, and enjoyable tours we have ever taken. Sandy’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and love for her country shine through in everything she does. I highly recommend Sandy and Hanoi City Tours to anyone visiting Hanoi. In fact, I have already referred a friend to this company and specifically suggested they request Sandy as their guide because I know they will not be disappointed. Thank you, Sandy, for giving us one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. We will remember this wonderful experience for years to come. – Steve A

Vietnam tops most travelers’ lists—mainly because there’s nowhere quite like it. The country seamlessly blends timeless tradition and modern innovation, where you can experience a whirlwind of contrasts, quickly going from a riverside village to a swanky metropolis. On Vietnam tours, step back in time and discover the maze-like Cu Chi Tunnels, cruise the otherworldly karst landscapes of Halong Bay, or explore Hanoi’s vibrant streets on a food-focused motorbike tour. Plus, the tour guides add valuable context to what you see and a better understanding of the culture.
