Full day out.

A big day with lots of activities. On the drive to the tunnels there is a stop at a rehabilitation centre for victims of the Vietnam war where they make wonderful pictures and objects out of shells and eggshell that are lacquered in a special way. Nice opportunity to buy some lovely gifts. Go on to the tunnel complex, very interesting and a chance to explore some of the them depending on your abilities. Fascinating insight into the resistance and how they utilised the little they had. Move on to a great lunch spread at a restaurant, very good range of Vietnamese food for all. Then 2 hr drive to Mekong delta and boat ride over to the island where you transfer to small boats and are taken through the coconut groves to village. There are refreshments and then you go for a tuktuk ride to a market where they make sweets out of coconut plus other things to buy. Return to the boat and then back to the bus for a ride back. Full day out started at 7:15 and got back at 17:15. Would recommend.

We chose a boat tour, which made the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. Travelling along the river offered a different perspective of local life and was far more relaxing than travelling by road. The tunnels themselves provide a fascinating insight into Vietnam’s history and the ingenuity of the people who lived and fought there. Seeing the hidden entrances, underground passages, living quarters, and defensive systems brings history to life in a way that books simply cannot. Be prepared for hot and humid conditions, and some tunnel sections can feel quite confined. Comfortable clothing, good walking shoes, sunscreen, and plenty of water are recommended. Our guide Chi was knowledgeable, engaging, and happy to answer questions, making the experience both educational and memorable. For anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi Tunnels are well worth adding to your itinerary, especially if you can experience them by boat. The best boat around!

This was one of our favorite stops in Vietnam! The pickup was so simple as we were sent instructions and a Google Map pin where to meet. The bus was about 2 hrs, with a rest stop half way. Our tour guide, Thang, was amazing! He gave us some history and culture lessons of Vietnam as we traveled to the bay. The boat we were on was beautiful - it was a brand new boat, only had been out for 7 days. It was very clean and I felt like I was on one of the best boats in the entire fleet. The lunch was huge with endless supply and so many options, including vegetarian. The guides gave plenty of time for us at each stop. Then there were even snacks on our way back! Overall a 10/10 experience for us.

A must do tour

Absolutely loved this tour! Daniel and his team were fantastic from start to finish. The whole group stayed together, the drivers were excellent, and the food stops were incredible. What really made the experience special was discovering places we never would have found on our own while wandering the streets. It was the perfect mix of amazing local food, hidden gems, and learning more about the city and its culture. Daniel’s knowledge, organisation, and friendly personality made the entire evening so enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City, it’s a must-do experience!

Lovely day! Loveliest tour guide.

It was a great experience. Our guide Sunny (Vu) was very good, knowledgeable and extremely humorous. We really appreciate his guiding skills. We learnt a lot of important historical sagas in his really interesting sense of humour. The biking experience was the highlight, I wish it was longer though. Lunch was good and the boating and hiking experience was amazing. The weather was harsh on our trip day but as Sunny said, we can’t control the weather, but we can definitely control how we take it in! 5 out of 5 experience!

Incredible tour with Kylie!

We had the absolute best time on this jeep tour! Kylie was an amazing guide—extremely fun, super chatty, and made the whole day so energetic. We got incredibly lucky and saw two trains pass on Train Street, plus another one right on the iron bridge, which was a huge highlight. The food we tried was delicious, and Kylie even gave us a bunch of awesome local recommendations for places to check out and enjoy later. 10/10 recommend booking with her!

Great day out with Hoa!

Fabulous tour with Hoa . We went to all the ‘ must see’ sights in HCM city. Hoa is very knowledgeable and guided us efficiently through some very history dense locations. Lots of stories and good humour. Finished off with a Vietnamese coffee at the markets and Hoa helped us buy some local Bahn Mi. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience

This was a wonderful experience! The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcome upon boarding and everything was clearly laid out for us. All the meals were delicious as was the optional activities. We made a few friends on the ship and participated in some of the traditional dancing. The rooms are quite large for being on a boat and we really enjoyed the view of the water from our balcony.

Cu Chi Tunnels/ Mekong nice combination.

This tour combined the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong River. Our tour guide “Tom” (Cruise) was very informative and attentive. This itinerary included a lot of little pit stops along the way demonstrating how things were made and of course everything is for sale. The distance between the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong River is kind of far so although your in a fairly comfortable limo bus the amount of time you’ll be in it is lengthy roughly 4 hours.
