Good tour, Phil (our guide) was great
This is a basic tour and I exactly what we were looking for. Our guide “Phil” was great. I enjoyed his commentary on the bus telling us about Ho Chi Minh, teaching us some basic Vietnamese words, stories about himself and the history of the Cu Chi tunnels. The van/bus was comfortable with good AC. It was the right amount of time for our kids to stay engaged and explore the tunnels.

Patient and Clear Guide
Our tour guide was Mr. Harry Khoa. There were three of us, and he handled all the pick-ups and took us to the rubber forest and Cu Chi Tunnels. The places were 🆒,but the best part was how patient he was with us. He knew we were Chinese, so he spoke English slowly, and we could follow along most of the time.💖🍃🤣

Sunny was amazing!
Absolutely fantastic, it was a very long day but packed full. We went to the independence palace in the morning, the Notre damn (although sadly covered in scaffold) and the Saigon central post office. Then the cu chi tunnels in the afternoon and my husband got to fire an AK, which he enjoyed. Found the museum and tunnels absolutely fascinating. Sunny our tour guide was an absolute delight, a bundle of positivity and humour. She was fantastic.

Fantastic tour with Steven (Minh)
We had a lovely tour experience with Steven (Minh - because everyone else has the same name). He spoke fantastic clear English, went above and beyond to make it a lovely tour, even went further through the Cu Chi Tunnels with our kids (8 & 10) - really didn't have to, but gave everyone a laugh. Would highly recommend!

People entering the underground Cu Chi Tunnels in Vietnam.
  • The Cu Chi Tunnels are a must for history buffs.

  • If you come on your own, you'll still need to buy Cu Chi Tunnels tickets and hire a tour guide to enter the tunnel network.

  • Touring the tunnels involves hunching over to walk underground. If you're prone to claustrophobia, consider giving this one a pass.

  • Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for uneven surfaces.

  • Don't forget to bring insect repellent to fend off mosquitoes.
