Great insight into the American war - amazing first hand experience! Our guide Alex was terrific - very knowledgeable about the conflict! The head sets he provided were an added bonus- communication from
company/ tour guide was good

We went on the afternoon trip 12:15pm and returned to the hotel around 7:30pm. Good English speaking guide.
Remember to take insect repellent!

Informative but fun day with a really knowledgeable guide. Shows just how harsh the living conditions were during the 68-75 war. Tunnels are cramped but worth attempting at least one.
En route taken to a supposedly disabled artists factory but all the items were for sale at hugely inflated prices and available in HCMC or at the Cu Chi tunnels souvenir shop for less than half in the factory shop. A real tourist trap, but interesting to see how lacquerware is made.
The optional visit to the firing range was expensive (1.5 million VND for 20 rounds) and the guns are bolted to the firing step so you don’t get to feel the weight of the gun or the kick on firing. Probably best to save your money.
Good lunch at a restaurant on the way back, clearly used by most tourist groups given the number of tourists dining there.

A Knowledgeable tour guide. Saw the key spots. Love that you could pay by card to shot the AK47s. Great experience. Thank you so much

This is definitely something I'd recommend if you are in Ho Chi Minh City. Our guide Tony was really funny, but at the same time he told us some good historical facts while not overwhelming us with too much information.

We did a half day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Our tour guide Kai was excellent and he provided some wonderful insights, knowledge and facts about the area and the relevance of the tunnels. This was a very enjoyable tour that covered all the main points of interest, a stop at a creative outlet, and a lovely lunch. Kai and our driver were top notch and we really appreciated the pick up from our hotel. The walk/crawl through about 20 metres of tunnel was a highlight, but is not for the feint hearted. Highly recommend this tour and Kai.

Dyan gave us a very nice and only a little claustrophobic tour of the tunnels. It was very informative. People with sensitive ears should bring earplugs as there is a shooting range near the tour (which you have the option to try for a fee).

Very informative and a fun experience. Alex was very knowledgeable and has clearly found his calling! Getting to see the tunnels was a very interesting experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Saigon!

It was a great experience. Jack was funny, knowledgeable and he spoke English very welll. The activity’s were fun. Climbing through an actual tunnel being the highlight

Going into tunnels is optional, but interesting and educational if you do go in. There is no included lunch, but there is a restsurant stop where you can buy lunch, so don't worry about being hungry.

We visited the tunnels on Sunday, which means lots of people! Nevertheless we were very satisfied with the organisation - the bus was on time, our host Vinny made sure we had all information, he was also adjusting the path of the tour (at the tunnels) such that we were not spending too much time waiting in queues. On the bus he provided lots of information from both perspectives: relevant historical data as well as his personal touch and experience, which we really enjoyed. So a big shout out to Vinny and the driver for a great experience!

Nelson was great, and infused our tour with both humor and knowledge. The ride was comfortable and the driver was skilled. There is nothing out of the ordinary than what you’d expect from the tunnels, but it was worth it to see the area and environment and learn about what happened here.

Immersing yourself in Vietnamese culture is truly captivating. Ali from Saigon Cyclo Tours - Vietnam Adventure Tours was extemely knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly, including how the traps worked and how people lived underground. These tunnels offer invaluable historical and factual insight. A visit to Ho Chi Minh City would not be complete without discovering the Cu Chi Tunnels.

Tuan was our guide and we couldn’t have had a better experience. He was so knowledgeable, willing to share his story and passionate about sharing the true experiences of the war. He also had a great sense of humour.
Tomas_B, Mar 2026
Great tour with Phew who was a great guide, adapting to the group and offering optionals (such a. Shooting and lunch)
Melisa_K, Mar 2026
Disappointed tour guide was rushing us all the time i said i wanted to do shooting he made me buy 30 bullets said that’s minimum and i paid 75 dollars just for shooting which i checked on internet 10 bullets was minimum
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Dear Melisa! We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. Our intention is always to give guests enough time to enjoy the activities at the tunnels. The shooting range is operated independently, and guests are free to choose whether or not to participate. We appreciate your feedback and will remind our guides to clearly explain the options so guests can decide comfortably. Thank you for sharing your experience. Warm regards!

Great to see the history of the war. Very interesting to see how the tunnel systems worked. Also the tour was nicely arranged with a bus and 2 stops during the ride.
Our tour guide Dyan was great!!!
Brian_J, Feb 2026

Interesting place
I except more from the guide.
He was very nice and responsible but I look for much more information.
Response from Host, Feb 2026

We appreciate your comments and will work on improving our guiding quality to deliver more in-depth and engaging tours in the future. We hope to welcome you again for a better experience! Sincerely!

Our tour guide Tony was AMAZING!! I was nervous that the two hour drive would be boring but Tony gave us a history lesson and we stopped by a place where those affected by Agent Orange made beautiful artwork pieces. They truly were spectacular and our group purchased a couple. For the tunnels themselves, there were other groups present, but Tony made sure we all stuck together and gave us detailed info on everything. I’d wear close toed shoes and bring money in case you want to try to shoot the old guns. Everything was incredibly informative and wonderful. 10/10 would 100% do it again. There were also snacks to buy in case you got hungry and they let us try tapioca. I napped on the ride back.

our guide Tommy did an amazing tour thru cuchi tunnels well know from A to Z history, well comunícate in our lenguaje.
Luke_B, Feb 2026
Super interesting day, the Cu Chi tunnels were fascinating to see and it was a lot of fun going in and out of the different stretches (although of course not good for anybody who struggles with mobility, breathing, claustrophobia etc). Our guide Lucky was such good fun, making sure we understood the key parts of the history and context to the war, treating the topics with appropriate care but also making it fun throughout the day. The lunch stop was also delicious and very reasonably priced
Nhan_L, Feb 2026
The tour guy was very knowledgeable and very funny. We enjoyed his company. We also enjoyed the tour. It was a must see.
AndreClaude_W, Feb 2026
The Cu Chi Tunnels Tour was amazing. The tour guide gave us a lot of information about the tactics from the Vietcong's during the war. A day trip you should definitely do if you are interested in the history of that time.
