Itinerary
Your tour begins with a morning or afternoon pickup from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel by air-conditioned bus, minibus, or luxury vehicle (depending on the tour option chosen). After about a 1.5-hour drive (depending on the traffic), arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels, where you’ll enjoy up to two hours to explore the well-preserved Vietnam War site.
As you follow your guide through the tunnels, you’ll learn about the fascinating tunnel system and the daily life of the Viet Cong soldiers, and have the opportunity to squeeze and crawl through the narrow passageways, tunnels, and trap doors. You’ll see the kitchens, living quarters, and weapon rooms, and have the option to shoot an AK-47 (not included).
After some free time for photos and exploring independently, meet your guide and group back at the tour bus for the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City.

This was such a great tour from the art store we went to where we bought some beautiful pieces to the in depth knowledge of the tunnels and Vietnamese methods of winning the war. Great tour and a reasonable cost to the Cu Chi tunnels with a lovely guide. Lots of interesting information provided on the way. We were provided with VIP transport including business class style recliners. Stopping for lunch on the way back was most welcome. Thoroughly recommend.

Very cool tour to the Ch Chi tunnels. Wish we had seen this before going to the war museum.
Tuen was a super knowledgeable guide who certainly puts his training in the Vietnamese army to good use 😂. He runs a tight ship that alternates between keeping us on track to real personal first hand accounts of what happened during the war and a mix of humour. He shocked us with his age lol, I be happy if Im going that well, although at times some of our group struggled to understand him. Tunnels are way tighter than you expect but definitely do able although perhaps dont wear your best or white clothes. Really worthwhile tour and a day well spent.

Dat was an excellent guide to the Cu Chi Tunnels. He was responsive, punctual, accommodating and engaging especially to our group, which had a lot of questions about the Vietnam War and the context surrounding the creation and living condition in the tunnels. We travelled with two seniors and a toddler and they absolutely loved the experience!

It was such a great exprience visiting the tunnels and learning about the resilience and ingenuity of Vietnamese people during the war.
Our guide was both funny and helpful, making the day both educational and awareness building.
We loved the time taken to make sure everyone had opportunities to exprience the inside of a tunnel and also feel what it was like being in the jungle.
Our stop for lunch was needed and absolutely delicious local cuisine that as t expensive.

Good tour, just 2 many groups at the venue. I would look for the tour at the Ben Dinh Tunnel, over the Ben Douc Tunnels.

You have to come to assembly point to take the bus, the stay in tunnels is around 2 hours, its ok to know a bit history of vietnam

Had a great time at Cu Chi tunnels. Theo was a great guide that provided some awesome information on the war and formation of the tunnels, just the right amount that it wasn't overwhelming. He also motivated everyone to get involved and become emersed in the exhibitions which was welcoming. Great time, 10/10 recommend.

I thought the actual tour was great. Our guide Tommy was informative and nice. The bus home was good and the stuff we did was interesting. I do feel the kindness of the pick up killed the trip. Being taken round and round in circles because people can’t be bothered to travel 5 minutes to a meeting point made the beginning so much more difficult than it should have been. People need to stop being so lazy!

An experience worth experiencing on a tour.
Easy from start to finish. Don’t be afraid to talk to the guide. They are very nice and knowledgeable. Professional service and really adds control, context, and depth to an otherwise already great historical museum. Dress for warm weather and maybe pack some wet towels so you are more comfortable during the tour.

This was a detailed tour that gives you a peak into the war experience of the Vietnamese. How they lived and used the tunnels in the war efforts. We also got to see some art work being ceeated by victims of Agent Orange. Back by 2/230pm. Our tour guide Dyan, was so bubbly and nice. He really elevated the experience with his knowledge and personality.

Our guide Amie was very informative and also had a great sense of humor, which made for a nice group outing. She did a wonderful job of sharing the wider historical context for the tunnels as well as going into great detail once we were on site. She also made sure everyone was comfortable with each tunnel and supported everyone's individual needs throughout the day. This was a fantastic day trip and we would highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting the area!
