I had such a great time. My tour guide was so knowledgeable and showed me all the important sites. We even did a tour of the ruins below the city. I bought us both tix. She met me at the train station and brought me into the city. Then put me on the right bus to get back to the station.

Sara gave us a brilliant overview of the history and geography of Verona focusing on what we were interested in, while also providing insights into Verona’s history and culture which we wouldn’t have otherwise understood. She also gave us some suggestions for the rest of our Verona visit which definitely enriched our time in Verona

Wonderful and informative. Our tour guide was able to engage our kids in the discussion and get them interested in the history. She always asked if we needed a break from the cold or a drink break. It was very enjoyable and a great way to start the first day of our Verona trip.

Sara was a fantastic tour guide! She took us all around Verona, showing us a few hidden gems and giving suggestions for restaurants and activities as well as telling us all about the history of the city. She even took us to her favorite gelato shop slightly outside the city limits which we never would have found on our own. If you're able to do the Private tour, we would highly recommend!

Verona is generally flat and everywhere is absolutely walkable.
We did this on our first day and so could then go back to places to explore in more detail later.
We had booked a Verona card for later days - you don't really have time to go in anywhere during the tour.
Take water with you and stop in a shop to buy more - don't waste tour time sitting down in a cafe.
The guide was a very knowledgeable local - be clear what you would like to achieve from that knowledge.

Maria was our guide on the 3hr walking tour, it’s definitely worth booking the 3hrs over the 2hrs, we learnt so much.
We went all over Verona and Maria is so knowledgeable, we also went up in the funicular and saw the stunning views.
We walked some of the route the day before and Maria pointed out so many things that we had just previously passed by, she was able to recommend places to eat & drink for authentic cuisine.
Maria certainly knows her history and her passion shows through, from the architecture, gardens, fossils to name just a few.
We would thoroughly recommend this trip if you are in Verona & ask for Maria.

10/10 experience. Tour guide was pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly, even offered recommendations for lunch. Really enjoyed having a private guide. And with the cost being so fair, don’t even bother with a big tour group. This is the way to go.
