Great Afternoon in Venice with Antonio
Antonio gave us a wonderful tour of Venice with his perspective as a native Venetian. In addition to a skip-the-lines tour of the Doge's Palace and St Mark's Basilica, he had a number of "surprise" venues he was eager to share. Our tour wrapped up with prosecco and sandwiches in St. Mark's Square. What a great afternoon! Be ready to walk and learn!

Trip with Sara
Our trip with Sarah through the streets of Venice to taste different foods and wines was definitely the highlight of a three week European trip. She took us to about half a dozen different locations having different appetizers, meats, cheeses, pastas, desserts, coffee gelato, and of course wine. It was a trip we would never do on our own and yet in the three or so hours, we saw a great introduction to the city to the culture into the food.
If you enjoy food, wine, history, culture, and wanting an education about Venice, this would be a great trip for you

A Wonderful Introduction to Authentic Venice - Thank You Elisabetta!
We took this tour just a few hours after arriving in Venice, and it couldn't have been a better introduction to the city. It was the perfect way to get oriented—not just to Venice's winding streets, but to its cuisine and unique eating and drinking culture. Elisabetta was an exceptional guide and the perfect ambassador for Venice. As a native Venetian with a fascinating background—including studying at Columbia University—she brought incredible depth, warmth, and personality to the experience. Beyond the delicious cicchetti and wine, we came away with a genuine appreciation for Venetian traditions, the bacaro culture, and the pride Venetians have in their city. Visiting neighborhood bacari we'd never have found on our own was a highlight, and Elisabetta's insider tips gave us the confidence to continue exploring beyond the tourist crowds for the rest of our stay. Highly recommended as one of your first experiences in Venice. Elisabetta was also kind enough to help us secure a table for dinner our first night in Venice at a darling 22-seat family run restaurant. Hands down the best tiramisu I've ever had in my life!

An Exceptional Experience!
A wonderful day in Valdobbiadene visiting two wineries to sample the world’s best proseccos. At each vineyard we sampled 4-5 wines (more than we could drink) along with just the right amount of cheeses, meats and pizza. Our tour guide, Riccardo, in addition to being a sommelier, was very knowledgeable of the history of the region and is a true gentleman.

Outstanding Tour with Claire!
Claire was energetic, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She somehow remembered the names of all 15 people in our group, which made the tour feel much more personal. Her passion for the history and stories behind St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace made everything come alive. This was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Claire to anyone visiting Venice!

Amazing Pasta
The Chef is an excellent chef and host! We had a wonderful time at our pasta making class. The Chef made us all feel comfortable and confident. The food we had was delicious. The chef is very friendly and made sure she interacted with all the guests beyond just instructing us. Highly recommend!!

Superb Tour
Selected Venice Prosecco Wine Tour w/ (2) Tastings based on previous reviews. Being 2nd time to Venice for the (4) of us, wanted to experience the country side. What better way than w/ a wine tasing tour. Vanessa our tour guide, just superb, knowledgeable about the region and very personable. The (2) wineries visited fulled us w/ knowledge of Prosecco Wine making and history of their winery. Very generous w/ tasting of their Prosecco wines.

Enjoyable Food Tour
Food was excellent. It was great to see a different neighborhood other than the main district. History of Venice and neighborhood was great. Vanessa was excellent and enjoyable company. Given that it was just our family she adapted our interests and food tastes along the way.

Loved Murano and Burano
We had a wonderful tour to Murano and Burano with David. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. His explanations about the history, culture, glassmaking traditions of Murano, and the colorful charm of Burano were informative without ever feeling overwhelming.
What really made the tour special was David’s sense of humor and relaxed style — he kept everyone entertained while still sharing fascinating details and local insights. He was patient with questions, organized, and made sure everyone felt included throughout the day.
The tour was the perfect balance of learning, sightseeing, and fun. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the islands and some great memories as well. Highly recommend touring with David if you’re visiting Venice and want a guide who is both professional and personable.

Don’t be Afraid of Classical Music
You don’t have to be a classical music lover to enjoy this trip back in time, through music
Traveling for the first time to Italy with friends & family. We thought getting a glimpse of old world Venice through music would be cool and it was. Don’t know anything about classical music but do know a few names of the old composers, Vivaldi is one and seeing how his “The Four Seasons” work is the most famous, and he was from Venice it made sense to go to the performance. We all had a wonderful time and the music was very engaging & lively. I think what really added to the performance, especially if you weren’t a classical music lover, was that the musicians dressed in the costumes of the period. You could imagine yourself in the 18th Century & listening to a concert of Vivaldi. We were looking for something uniquely “Venetian” and this concert fit the bill. Of course it was for “tourists” but it definitely had a different “flavor” other than the regular “tourist” things to do in Venice. We upgraded our tickets to “Skip the Line- Sit in the First Thee Rows”. It was worth it to be right up front. Like I said earlier, no one in our group was a classical music fan but we all enjoy good music whatever the genre. We heard good music & enjoyed the showmanship. It was a great activity and an end to a beautiful day in Venice.

Venice and surrounding islands
We got a tour all the way around Venice and saw all the surrounding islands. Learned a lot about the history of each island, how Venice was built to last. It’s a very marshy area and they had to dig very deep. Amazing what they could do way back then. Highly recommend this tour! Our guide was excellent!!
