A Great Day in Kusadasi
Our cruise line cancelled our excursion at the last minute, so I was scrambling to find something for my family to do while we were in the port of Kusadasi. I’m so glad I found this tour because it ended up being a great experience and, honestly, better than what our cruise line had originally offered. Communication was great leading up to the tour, and everything was easy to coordinate.
When we arrived that morning, we met our guide, Nagehan. We took a short walk outside of the port to meet our driver and then headed to our first destination, the ancient city of Ephesus.
Nagehan did a great job walking us through the history of Ephesus and explaining what we were seeing along the way. She was also happy to help us take some great family photos, which was appreciated. We were able to see most of the ruins within about an hour before heading to the interactive Ephesus exhibit. The exhibit was about 20 minutes and provided a more immersive experience of what life was like in ancient Ephesus. I thought it was a nice addition to the tour.
Our second stop was a Turkish rug workshop, which ended up being one of the highlights of the day. We learned about the history of Turkish rugs and got to see how they are made. It was fascinating learning about the process and the different materials used to create the rugs. We also got to see a demonstration of how raw silk is processed into thread.
After that, we were taken into the showroom for another demonstration of the completed rugs. They have some really beautiful pieces. There is no pressure to purchase a rug if you don’t want one, although they will certainly show you some beautiful options.
After the demonstrations, we had lunch at the onsite restaurant at the rug workshop. The food was fresh and delicious. We started with fresh salads, dips, and freshly baked bread, followed by rice, grilled chicken, and beef meatballs. Turkish tea and fresh fruit were served for dessert. It was a great meal and a nice break in the middle of the day.
Our third stop was a chance to visit both a leather shop and a pottery studio. If you have to choose between the two, I would recommend the pottery studio. The family who runs it was incredibly kind, and it was really interesting to see their work and the variety of pottery they create.
At the end of the day, our driver brought us back to the port, which made getting back to our cruise very easy.
I can’t thank Nagehan and our driver enough for such a lovely day. We really enjoyed the variety of stops, learning about the history and culture of the area, and not having to worry about transportation while we were in port. What started as a last-minute change of plans ended up being a really memorable day for our family. I would definitely recommend this tour if you’re visiting Kusadasi.

Our guide (Nesli) made the tour extraordinary!
We had the most delightful of days traveling to the ruins of Ephesus and exploring cultural spots of pottery, mosaic construction, rug creation, and souvenir shopping at the finest of locations and artisans. All of this was made possible by a customized day by our guide, Neslihan (Nesli). She was extremely knowledgeable, knew how to get the most from each location and artfully avoided crowds. She alone was what made the day spectacular. Without her expert knowledge, we would have battled crowds all day.
Nesli’s depth of knowledge and mastery of the English language made the day feel we were on a presidential tour.
She asked our desires for what level she should deliver all aspects of history and culture and configured the day and discussions to us all day long. It was very impressive. We have done many many tours and this was in the top 3 ever as it was so specialized to us.

Great experience with a great Guide
My family and I had a great time with Josh. He was very knowledgeable and patient answering all the questions and giving us time to wander and take pictures. He explain the country, the history, and the culture in great detail to make the tour all the better. Would recommend Josh to everyone who wants to take a tour of Ephesus.

Our tour of the House of...
Our tour of the House of the Virgin Mary, ancient Ephesus with Hati was amazing. Hati was so much fun to spend the day with-she was very knowledgeable and open to whatever our group wanted to do. From pick up to drop off - everything went without a hitch. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wishing to learn about Turkey and some of it's history.

Memories to last a lifetime
What is spectacular day with our tour guide, honor. We learned so much at every stop. He was very knowledgeable and kept us entertaining the whole day. He was so attentive to our needs as well. I’m using an umbrella in the sun to giving us additional water to making sure we were comfortable at the stops along the way.
I highly recommend anyone to spend the day on this journey because of all the history and love for this country by its people
We did a lot of shopping and love the Turkish food stop. Thank you for an amazing experience and our memories that will last a lifetime.

Ephesus, House of the Virgin Mary, Temple of Artemis, and Silk Rug Factory
One of the best parts of this tour was that it was completely private. I loved the personalized experience, and having our own private vehicle to travel between each destination made the day so comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable.
We had an incredible tour in Kusadasi, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! Bahar was an outstanding guide. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing the history of each site we visited.
We toured Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary, the Temple of Artemis, and a silk rug factory. Ephesus was absolutely fascinating, and Bahar brought the ancient city to life with her detailed explanations and interesting stories. It was amazing to learn so much while walking through such well-preserved ruins.
The silk rug factory was an unexpected favorite. We watched a live demonstration of how the rugs are made, learned about the silk-making process, and even got to participate in a hands-on demonstration. It was a unique and memorable experience.
This tour was phenomenal from start to finish. Bahar made every stop informative and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kusadasi and it is definitely a 10/10 experience!

Great guide with local touch, perfect mix of stops, stunning sights, easy process
Saw some amazing sites, great mix, really interesting and beautiful. Guide was great, lots of facts, loved personal touch of local insights. Kept a good pace throughout. Only complaint, there were too many sales heavy stops - but was still good to see the crafts people

Perfect way to experience Turkey
Our multi day tour from Istanbul through the Cappadocia region was one of the highlights of our time in Türkiye. Everything was exceptionally well organized from start to finish, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience.
The real star of the trip was our guide, Turgay (Tour-guy) Yuzuak. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and geography of the region, but what made the tour special was his warm and personable style. He made everyone feel welcome, answered endless questions with patience and humor, and shared fascinating local insights that we never would have discovered on our own.
The itinerary was excellent and struck a perfect balance between famous highlights and smaller local experiences. Seeing the fairy chimneys, underground cities, cave churches, and panoramic valleys of Cappadocia was unforgettable. Travel days were smooth and never felt rushed.
The accommodations were also much nicer than expected, especially the cave hotel experience, which added a unique touch to the trip. The restaurants throughout the tour were another pleasant surprise. We enjoyed a wide variety of delicious Turkish dishes, and every meal felt thoughtfully chosen rather than just a tourist stop.
Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Cappadocia comfortably while learning deeply about the region and enjoying authentic Turkish hospitality.

I went to this a few...
I went to this a few years ago and it was better than I remembered. It’s a great venue, with all seats close. Really good dancing, which gets better as the show progresses. They have interesting costumes and cool lighting. There is a drummer for part of the show that is excellent. A fun experience.

Great airport to hotel shuttle!
Great communication and easy to work with! Due to a cancellation of one of our hotel rooms, we needed two of our group to dropped off at a different location. Our driver was willing to make an extra stop for us, which we greatly appreciated! Fantastic, prompt, courteous service! Highly recommend!!!!!
