The tour was not informative by any means. The tour guide had very limited knowledge of the areas we visited and provided little meaningful information or historical context. It was a real shame, as the tour had the potential to be much more enjoyable and informative.
Having a private tour was the Best!! Yesra our guide got us to all of the sites at the right time so we missed the crowds. She guided us through so we understood the past and how that affects the present. The lunch was very good, ready and waiting for us. She was very informative and friendly and made our experience unforgettable.
Umut was great! Very knowledgeable and super polite! The transportation was excellent and they had water and snacks for us! The lunch was amazing! Thank you so much Umut! We will definitely comeback!
Very informative and our guide Bulent Alan was so good. Would highly recommend. The small group size was perfect to navigate quickly through the larger crowds.
Good tour, but not what was advertised. It was not a Bible Study tour as promoted. The guide added in two ‘extras’ (a rug shop and a pottery shop). This took up way too much time so we didn’t do part of the advertised tour.
I would highly recommend this tour. It covered all the basic and our tour guide was awesome. It included lunch which was a great addition. Very pleased and would absolutely do again.
Tijen was an amazing tour guide. She was knowledgeable about Ephesus and the area. We learned so much on the tour and are so glad we booked it.
Halil was our guide. He was wonderful and spoke English extremely well. He has been a guide for many years and knows all the sights and perfect view points. He knows the historical significance and makes you truly love the area!
Highly recommend! 10 stars! Our guide was outstanding, very knowledgeable and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable luxury private vehicle (instead of a bus full of cruise passengers) and the chauffeur was great, too. We learned so much history about Ephesus and Selcuk. In spite of the crowds, we were able to see the historic and ancient buildings we wanted to see including Mary’s house, Ephesus, Temple of Artemis and Basilica of St. John. We had a nice lunch and saw how the beautiful Turkish rugs were made. Our only problem was we just wish we had longer in port! We could have stayed several days here. This was our favorite excursion and favorite port stop on our cruise. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit Kusadasi again.
This was an incredible experience through the beautiful countryside of Turkey from Port Kusadasi to Ephesus. Our guide Utku was impressively informative on the Biblical and Turkish history of the ruins, the house of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, as well as the Temple of Artemis. It was so very nice to have a private driver and tour guide, to skip the lines, be protected from street vendors and have the one on one attention where we could ask questions about his culture and life growing up in Turkey. Because we asked and were interested, we also were able to see a school where ladies were making Turkish rugs. A private tour is definitely the best way to visit these sites and get the maximum personalized experience. We would highly recommend this tour and are going to make plans to visit Turkey again!
Lacking biblical content. Stressful late return to port We said 5pm to be safe and we got back at 5. 25 and had to rush to ship
It was a great experience. I wished the guide, who was excellent in many ways, had been more knowledgeable of the Bible beings this was a Bible Tour.

First of all you thank you for your messagge. All reviews even they are negative wellcome for us but when you are writing reviews you should be fair why
You booked a biblical ephesus tour which is is stated as 5 hours
You visited house of virgin mary and temple of artemis, the next point was ephesus when you heard from our guide ephesus entrance is 40 euros you did not want to enter ancient city plus same for basilica of st john 6 euros you did not want to pay.
These 2 points visiting time is about 3 hours after the house of virgin mary you wanted to return back to the port and we dropped you back. If you say the tour duration is not as mentioned this not fair . you should say we did not want to enter the sites with fees and than we wanted a refund because of our tour ended at 10:30 am we could not have lunch. And the company rejected our refund request due to tour is ended by our request. This could be fair enough. But instead of telling the truth you are saying the tour is not as listed. Anyway your reviews will show to our potential customers that all reviews are real.
