What are people saying about Turkey

Great Experiences - Worth it
Great workshop. But the most exciting but informative and the staff are great. We liked it so much we signed up to the perfume making workshop too. Combine the two together - it’ll be worth it. Prioritise the perfume but you can do a smaller coffee making workshop with it.

Fantastic experience making Turkish Coffee with Beril
Our coffee expert, Beril, was absolutely amazing! She walked us through the entire coffee-making process and shared some really fun traditional facts about coffee culture in Turkey. The fortune telling at the end was such a fun, memorable touch! I would definitely do this again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Fun family activity
We did this activity as a family (mom, dad, and 2 kids) and absolutely loved it. We learned a lot about Turkish coffee, and the fortune telling was a very fun and entertaining group experience. Our instructor was engaging, kind, and welcoming. They even give you Turkish coffee cup and saucer set which looks very cute. This class was one of the highlights of our Istanbul trip, and I definitely recommend it! They offer other classes too, and you get a discount for booking more classes. I wish I would have known that sooner so I could’ve booked more classes with the same company. Overall a wonderful experience!

⸻ Before the cooking class, we enjoyed a walking city tour from Osmanbey Metro through Ergenekon Street and Kurtuluş Street. It was a great opportunity to learn about everyday life in Türkiye, including the culture of Turkish breakfast, which is something you would not fully understand without exploring the neighborhood on foot. Afterward, we went to the host’s home and cooked traditional Turkish home-style dishes. The lentil soup, an essential part of Turkish dining, had a gentle and comforting flavor that stimulated the appetite. The börek filled with minced meat and potatoes was also delicious. This experience offered much more than just cooking—it provided valuable insight into Turkish culture and daily life. Highly recommended!
