    I had a great time! We picked our own ingredients straight from a beautiful organic farm with views of Uçhisar Castle, then learned to cook traditional Turkish dishes with the warm and welcoming aunties. I loved exploring the farm and learning how grape molasses are made and enjoyed our meal in the charming outdoor patio kitchen and dining area.

    This was one of our favorite things we did on our honeymoon! The day starts by picking up produce from a local vendor. Then after a short hike down into the valley, you enter into this space that is simply breathtaking. The pictures they post don’t do it justice. An adorable cottage with open patio space and outdoor dining. If the weather is nice you will cook outside under the vines and if the weather is poor you will be inside. The old Turkish woman we cooked alongside didn’t speak any English, but had so much personality and was simply a job to be around. She helped us prepare stuffed vegetables, sarma and halva. It was all delicious! As we waited for the food to cook we enjoyed a glass of wine and strolled through the property to see the farm animals. If you are debating booking this tour, do it. You won’t regret it.

    Enjoyed the hands on experience and the quiet nature of this unvisited valley. Our guide/translator was great as well as the chef with whom we cooked. We’d recommend the experience to anyone looking for an authentic Turkish cooking experience.

    Sometimes you have a travel experience that is just so great, it is hard to describe in a few quick sentences. This day was so special to both my partner and me. First, the farm it’s on is incredible— the animals are adorable and friendly. We lucked out and we’re there on a day the ladies were making bread and it was like seeing a glimpse into a more traditional Turkey. Second, the food was amazing. You will learn to cook things that are delicious and local, but simple enough you could remake them at home. Last but never least, our host, Seçil was special. We think she is the funniest, warmest person we met on our trip to Turkey. Her English (and sense of humor) are fantastic and made the day truly unforgettable.

    I was the only person on the tour so it ended up being a private class. Tuğba was a very friendly guide as were the women teaching me to cook. They didn’t provide any recipe notes but were happy to explain step by step so I could jot it all down. I recommend this company. Authentic experience
