This was great for coffee lovers and non-coffee lovers! Ahmet was a great host who shared the interesting history of coffee and its importance in Turkish culture. The shop was beautiful and we had so much fun preparing coffee in the traditional way and the fortune telling was amazing! We did ATVs, balloons and sightseeing but this was our favorite activity in Cappadocia! Thank you Ahmet and family!

I would like to thank our Turkish guide to the world of Turkish coffee, the girl with the wonderful name Yagmur (translated from Turkish as rain). She is Turkish by nationality and knows Turkish traditions very well. We brewed delicious coffee together and I learned how to cook and drink it properly. We were also given a gift- a Turk and a cup and saucer made of clay, as well as a guide to fortune-telling on coffee grounds, which was very nice and pleasant! The tour was conducted in English and Yagmur speaks it well, everything was clear and fascinating.

Zehra was amazing! She taught me so much about Turkish coffee-making and culture. She also offers decaf coffee. I loved the treats and had so much fun listening to her fortune-telling. What an informative and engaging experience—I recommend to everyone!

I joined the turkish coffee experience with my partner today. The session is hosted by Zehra. She made the class interesting and interactive and show us clear instructions step by step. We learn how to make turkish coffee and learnt the history and culture behind it.
I would love to come back for more experiences. Highly recommended to anyone visiting:))

Ahmed was the best teacher who taught me so much about the traditional way of 'cooking' Turkish coffee, the local way of using it as unspoken hints, and reading my fortune based on my coffee cup. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this. I even went back to buy the cup/saucer set because I couldn't find any similar ones in town.

We had an incredible experience at this workshop. Deniz was very lovely and well-informed. We learned a lot about the history of coffee and had a great introduction to traditional Turkish coffee. The pistachio coffee was also delicious!

A surprisingly incredible, educational and fun experience with Denise. She not only took us through the the origins of coffee, but her story telling was otherworldly. It definitely exceeded our expectations and the fortune telling from the coffee grounds blew our minds!! Like, WOW!! What an exquisite and exotic experience for the price. Amazing.

What a unique experience. The host Ahmet is such a kind man, patient with us and made learning how to make Turkish coffee so fun. Bonus points for his fortune telling interpretation of our coffee. I'll be making Turkish coffee at home in a few weeks using sand from Los Angeles!

My partner and I attended this Turkish Coffee and Fortune Reading workshop, and it was a fantastic experience. Since we were the only two participants that day, the session felt very personalized. Our instructor, Zehra, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the class engaging and enjoyable.
She walked us through the proper way to prepare Turkish coffee, highlighting common mistakes made in some markets. We learned how roasting times affect the flavor and even got to touch and smell different coffee beans before and after roasting. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast like me or just looking for a fun activity to do as a couple, this workshop is a great choice.
The two-hour duration was perfect—giving us time to learn, make the coffee, and enjoy it. Zehra also shared fascinating cultural insights about Turkish coffee traditions. She also inquired about our coffee-drinking habits back home, making the experience feel authentic and personal.
The fortune reading at the end was a fun touch, making the whole experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this workshop!

This was really fun! I'd highly recommend both for coffee lovers and for travellers just looking for a few hours of chill good time. You learn about the history of coffee, smell different varieties, learn the Turkish coffee making process, get your fortune told, and get a gift set to go. Pretty good value!

This was a very nice experience. I had bought Turkish coffee on a previous trip and turns out I was making it wrong! Lol so grateful for the class. The fortune telling was also a nice experience and the gift set a very nice touch!

Esmir was a kind and gracious host. I enjoyed the day and the task of making Turkish coffee. It is at a leisurely pace, don’t book anything else within a 4 hour window so you can enjoy the time. The gift at the end is so nice! Thank you. Fortune telling was pretty accurate! (Edi) I think his name was, was gracious as well. Just know the workshop is in the building with a mosaic lamp making too. Thank you!

Ayse Sultan, the instructor, was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was patient and kind, and I love how my lantern turned out. It’s beautiful! It will be my favorite souvenir from this trip! Suggestion: it would be nice to get a sturdy box to transport it home. This workshop was so much fun :)

The Turkish coffee workshop was a unique experience during my trip. It was fascinating to see how the coffee is made traditionally, and our guide was really knowledgeable. I appreciated the hands-on aspect where we got to grind the beans and brew our own coffee. The taste was different from what I’m used to but definitely worth trying. If you’re looking to do something a bit different and dive into local culture, this workshop is a good choice.
One thing that could have been better is the communication with scheduling. Although the company was very responsive, we had to change our start time at the last minute.
