Worth Every Penny
The company Life Adventure did not cancel the tour despite the fact that only two guests signed up. It provided a very comfortable and tidy Mercedes Benz van with a vibrant driver and tour guide Linda. Lunch with non-alcoholic drink was included (menu options) in a comfortable restaurant at Sommeroy Arctic Hotel. Linda is a careful and smooth driver, who never rushed us to see the many points of interest.

Highly Recommended Private Tour to Sommeroya
Very good travel guide - Gerard who drove us in his Tesla Car, personalised private tour. Excellent locations during the trip and timely stop overs. Veg soup was good, can purchase veg food at the hotel if needed. Saw some reindeers on the way as well.

Night under the Aurora
From pick up to drop off; the Wandering Owl team was amazing. The night was so well organised and our guide and driver were excellent. We made a couple of stops along the way to experience the beautiful Fiordland before making our final stop to set up camp. The thermal suits and boots were great and after our meal of soup, as we sat around the campfire, we were treated to an amazing Aurora display!!! As we were in our way home, Michael our driver stopped again when he noticed it had appeared again; it was even brighter and more beautiful then!! An amazing once in a lifetime experience for our family. Takk!!

Dedicated tour guides
There was a snow storm in Tromso so we headed north to get out of it. The guides let us know that we might have to go as far as Finland to see them, but their goal was not too keep us out too late. We ended up going to Finland as the snow didn’t stop in Norway! It was worth it; the skies opened up for us and the time was of no consequence.

Amazing experience.
What an amazing experience!!
Firstly, the most important thing with this activity is the dogs. It was stressed to us during the briefing that happy people mean happy dogs, shown how to pet the dogs, how to make sure they were safe etc. When we got to the dog farm, each dog had their own kennel, with space around it and looked well cared for.
The briefing was very comprehensive and Anna made sure everyone was clear on what they needed to do. Thermal suits, gloves etc were all available, and once suited up we headed to the dog farm and met our dog team with strict instructions to cuddle and make sure we were comfortable before we headed out.
The scenery around Tromso Husky was spectacular and we were soon wizzing along.
When we got back to the Husky Farm we spent more time with the dogs before heading back to the base camp, and having hot drinks and soup.
As well as being a great experience to do, this trip was so well organised, and ran by lovely people who obviously care a great deal about the dogs.

Highly recommend
Unfortunately, we saw the Northern Lights for a very brief moment and through our cameras, but it was not for lack of trying. We visited two locations, but the sky was mostly cloudy that night (it even started snowing on our way back), and there wasn't much aurora activity. However, the overall experience was nice: we ate real reindeer sausages (not the artificial hot dogs sold in many places), had warm drinks, and our tour guide Max explained the science behind the aurora and helped with camera settings. He was also constantly on the lookout for the aurora. Even though the night was not too cold and without any wind, the thermal suits were a nice addition.

Excellent Walking Tour through Tromso
Really enjoyed the experience. Had to ask a few people to see if we were in the correct building. Google maps placed us outside on a different corner.
Our guide Carl, was excellent. We met up and joined people already on the tour as there has been an admin mix up and two groups had started at different places.
Carl was very clearly spoken and very knowledgeable. Walked through the town, visited the library, fish tank in the restaurant and ended up at the Polar Museum. Carl guided us through the history in the museum. As we had joined the tour later, Carl continued with us and took us to the new part of town before heading back. We said goodbye to Carl at a local cafe and then made our way back.
Very friendly and informative guide, would certainly listen to Carl again should we visit Tromso again.

Just amazing!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Harry and his driver did an amazing job finding the Northern Lights on a night where it wasn’t looking very promising (snowing). Using software developed by a friend of Harry we were able to find the most amazing show. It took a lot of patience but we found it in Finland of all Places! Harry is very passionate about the science behind the Aurora Borealis and explains it in a way that we could understand. He is also an amazing photographer and we were able to enjoy the show while he took the photos. I would recommend this tour to anyone that dreams of seeing the Northern Lights!

It was amazing to see the reindeer herd in their natural environment. It was great to be able to feed them and wander through the herd. We loved the short reindeer ride and appreciated the woollen blanket. The favourite bit for me was the free hot chocolate and biscuits which were available for the duration of the visit. We enjoyed learning about the Sami culture too.

This day trip was very interesting, fun and informative; we learned about Sami culture and reindeers/herding from a Sami woman (in Tromsø studying at the university) who spoke authentically and well of her culture and was a great tour guide. Thank you to all! The reindeer were super cute, got to feed them for a while :)

Whale Watching by boat
A wonderful experience on a lovely boat.
The boat was beautiful, clean, warm and the staff absolutely amazing.
They travel around as much as possible to maximise your chances of seeing whales and educate you on what types you may see.
Highly recommend this tour.

A Very Special Day in Tromoso!
Our guide Roman was a real gem! He was informative on so many levels! We learned so much in a short time about the Northern Lights because he actually chases them! He too is to a few special Fords on our trip as well as the Local beach! We enjoyed so much the healthy sandwiches and amazing homemade oatmeal cookies that were outstanding! He also took professional fotos for anyone who desired! I highly recommend this tour!
