If you’re visiting Tromsø, I highly recommend this Arctic Fjord tour. It’s a must-do experience that really let you connect with the beauty of the Mother Nature. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and the peaceful Arctic atmosphere you can’t really describe unless you experience it yourself. Every stop felt like a postcard moment. What I loved most was the silence and the fresh Arctic air. It felt so pure and untouched. The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared interesting stories about the history, nature, and local life in northern Norway. The pace of the tour was perfect — not rushed and just taking in the views. It truly felt like stepping into another world. Thank you Tromsø!

    Disappointing

    Eleonora_D, Jul 2026
Very uncomfortable accomodation in the van. The tour programme was including a simple short trekking on the mountains or in the forest looking for wild animals or beautiful views, but we skipped it totally. Nothing at all. A family of reindeers met walking on the street only. No secret beaches, or remote landscapes. A very misleading description, not true. Very kind guide however.

Thank you for your review. We would like to clarify a few points for future travellers. The short hike mentioned in our tour description is clearly stated as optional and depends on weather, road conditions and the schedule on the day. It is not a guaranteed part of the itinerary. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed by any responsible tour operator, as all animals live freely in their natural habitat. During your tour, we did encounter a family of reindeer, but no company can promise specific wildlife encounters. Regarding the "remote landscapes" and "secret beaches," the tour visited Grøtfjord and Rekvik—off-the-beaten-path destinations that remain largely undiscovered by most visitors to Tromsø. These locations are exactly the remote Arctic scenery described in our tour. For this reason, we do not agree that our tour description is misleading. We believe it accurately reflects the experience we offer and clearly explains what is included, what is optional, and what cannot be guaranteed. We appreciate your kind words about our guide and wish you all the best during your travels.

Not a full tour as written

It says it’s a 5 1/2 hour tour, but it was only 4 1/2 hours including the return. Our tour guide was really good. And the cost once docking is way cheaper than Viator. Very upset.

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for your review. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the guide. Regarding the duration, our tour description states that the tour lasts approximately 5.5 hours. The actual duration may vary depending on road conditions, weather, traffic, and operational circumstances on the day. In your case, the departure was slightly delayed due to the arrival of a cruise ship and the coordination of all participating guests. Despite this, all scheduled stops and experiences were completed as advertised, and no part of the itinerary was omitted. Regarding the price, tickets purchased through Viator are sold at a different rate than tickets purchased directly from us. The Viator price includes the platform's commission and associated distribution costs, which is why direct bookings are often more economical. This is a standard practice across the travel industry. We appreciate your feedback and are pleased that you enjoyed the guiding experience.

    Extraordinary Sights

Our original tour for this was cancelled, but the tour management offered us to join another one of their tour busses the same morning. Same tour, just slightly different stops. We went to Sommaroy Island instead, which was absolutely stunning. Our guide Isaac was friendly and professional. He was very knowledgeable and provided us so much information about the different sites, culture, and ecosystems. Would highly recommend this experience.

    Wonderful Sommaroy

I had a wonderful time on a tour to Sommaroy. My original tour was cancelled due to low numbers but our guide has organised the original tour to run on Sunday. Im very happy, he weather was perfect
