What are people saying about Tokyo

A beautiful walk and wonderful history
I was pleased to learn about the gardens and the levels of Shogun. Sven was interesting and had much to share with us. We had a lovely time learning and enjoying the area. I would recommend future travellers to bring an umbrella or others shade making device/sunscreen as it got quite warm at times and sunburn was a thing that happened. The tour itself was a delight.

A Perfect Day in Tokyo and Ikuto
We had an outstanding experience in Tokyo thanks to our guide, Ikuto. He met my adult son and me at our hotel right on time, and from the start, everything felt easy and well organized.
Ikuto connected naturally with both of us and made the day feel personal rather than scripted. We covered an incredible amount without ever feeling rushed, including Senso-ji Temple, Meiji Jingu Shrine, Harajuku, Tokyo Tower, TeamLabs, and the Shibuya Crossing.
What stood out most was how thoughtful he was throughout the day. He shared meaningful context at each stop and kept things engaging the entire time. He also took us to a special ramen spot that turned into one of the highlights of the trip.
Ikuto is knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. It felt less like a tour and more like exploring Tokyo with someone who truly cares about your experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting.

An amazing experience!...
An amazing experience! Our tour guide Tadashi was exceptional - incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and made sure we had the best time on our tour. Even went out of his way afterwords to show us a few spots in the golden gai area. The Wagyu was exceptional as well as the sushi the spots were well picked out and high quality. You won’t be disappointed booking this experience especially for first timers. 10/10

Great way to cover all the local highlights
Takanari runs a very thorough tour of Tokyo. We covered every area and attraction that locals frequent, which kept costs down while exposing us to common activities such as shopping for anime collectables and cards, and visiting shrines and gardens. We only had one day to visit so we obviously covered Shibuya Crossing and a few other areas that seemed to have large numbers of tourists. If I had a second day I’d tell him money is not an object, take us to the expensive elaborate gardens and up the coolest towers and buildings.

Do this food tour!
Wonderful tour! Ami was excellent! She was very knowledgeable and helpful with regard to the food, and she did a great job giving us a taste of the culture as we walked through the city. Everything was absolutely delicious. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!!

Food and Sightseeing
Small group experience with entertaining and knowledgeable guide, Nobuto. Several meal stops and a sightseeing visit around the area. I saw lots of things I would not have found on my own and the group was fun and the food delicious. Definitely recommend it!

Evening Tour starting at the famous Shibuya Crossing
Nikki was my tour guide on my first evening in Tokyo. I learned local dives and culture I didn’t know through reading and the internet. She was engaging and shared examples of her first hand experiences from being a local in Tokyo. Because it was a rainy evening I had the luxury of being the only one joining Nikki’s Shibuya evening tour.

Private Walking Tour of Tokyo Hidden Gems
We just completed a private Tokyo tour with Sherilyn (“Custom Highlights and Hidden Gems”), and it exceeded all expectations. In just 4 hours, she managed to give us a rich, well-paced experience that included multiple shrines, the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing, and even the Godzilla Information Map in Shinjuku—plus many other interesting stops along the way.
Sherilyn was absolutely on a mission—in the best possible way. She maximized every minute, ensuring we not only saw a lot but also understood the history, culture, and context behind each location. It never felt rushed, just incredibly efficient and engaging.
What really stood out was her communication and professionalism. She reached out via WhatsApp well before our arrival in Tokyo, making coordination easy and giving us confidence going into the tour. During the tour, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does.
We logged over 13,000 steps (per my Apple Watch), which says a lot about how much ground we covered—but it was worth every step.
If you want a guide who will go above and beyond to give you a meaningful, high-value experience in a short amount of time, Sherilyn is an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

Brilliant way to experience the market
Really perfect way to try so many different foods at top outlets at the market, as well as to learn a bit about the history of Tokyo. Nicolas was an excellent, super helpful and very knowledgeable guide! We got so much more out of this guided tour than we would have otherwise. A definite highlight of our Tokyo trip.

Just me and my guides!
This was a great way to see may areas of Tokyo that are often overlooked. The guide was helpful riding in tokyo was surprisingly easy. I’ve biked in many cities and can say that it felt safe and allowed me to explore tons of sites in a short amount of time. Highly recommend and can easily be accessed by all biking skill levels!

This was a very good tour...
This was a very good tour which gave us a good introduction into the Shinjuku area, in fact it came in especially useful when we needed something that we had forgotten, our guide had showed us a store called Don Kiote, a store that has everything. Without this prior knowledge we would have struggled to find what we needed, worth the trip.
