Amazing Food Hawker tour of Singapore

This half day Food Hawker tour of Singapore was amazing! Linda, the tour guide, gave us a very in-depth educational presentation on Singapore’s history, culture, and food. Her assistant, Megan, had our tables prepared and the food ready for us at each of our stops, which made the tour more efficient. Both Linda and Megan were happy, friendly, helpful, and informative. We sampled a nice array of different foods at different food. Hawker markets, so it was an amazing tour that covered everything as advertised.

Great tour for the light shows

Although the light shows are free and you could do them on your own, it was great to have this tour. Francis, our tour guide, picked us up at our hotel and gave narration as we drove. We went to Lion Park to see the Merlion fountain along the river. Then to Gardens by the Bay light show and then the Spectra light show. It would be impossible to do both if these on the same night in your own without the tour as they drive us to them I recommend this tour as the shows are spectacular.

Gerry Was the Best Guide – Don’t Miss This Tour!

We had an amazing time on this tour and highly recommend it. Our guide, Gerry, was outstanding. He communicated with us before the tour, which immediately gave us peace of mind, and once we met him, it was clear we were in great hands. It was a small group (only 7 of us), which made the experience feel very personal. Gerry took the time to learn everyone’s names and was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. As a local who does these tours regularly, he seemed to know everyone and had great insight into each neighborhood. The food was a huge highlight. In Chinatown, we were able to sit and try a variety of dishes from the hawker center without worrying about ordering or paying, since everything was included. We also loved that any leftover food was given to locals in need. The Little India portion was just as great, with delicious dishes at a restaurant and seamless transportation. Gerry even had metro cards ready for us, which made everything so easy. He also shared history along the way, including photos of how the areas used to look, which added a lot of depth to the experience. We ended in the Arabic Quarter with dessert (also included in the tour), and he made sure everyone got back safely. My entire family loved this tour, and my husband even said it was the highlight of our Singapore trip. If you’re considering this tour, book it. You won’t regret it.

Prepare yourself for a very long day and a lot of walking in hot humid weather. But having said that the sights we saw more than made up for it. The breakfast and the dinner in the KL Tower was plentiful and delicious. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. On our trip we upgraded for the Petronus Tower visit - we'll worth it.
